Background (Preamble):
The British viewing public was robbed of its daily fix of the wonderful New Zealand soap 'Shortland Street' when ITV cancelled it in favour of the dreadful 'Crossroads', which died a pitiful death after a couple of seasons.
Now that the BBC have decided to give up 'Neighbours' from Spring 2008, it is an ideal opportunity to replace it with 'Shortland Street'

We, the undersigned, call upon the BBC to replace 'Neighbours', (which finishes on BBC1 in Spring 2008), with the superior and the totally wonderful New Zealand soap, 'Shortland Street'.
