With the BC Teachers walkout and the passing of Bill 22 it seems that the people most affected are the students. Already many high schools and middle schools have canceled all sports as a form of protest to the government. This is all good for the teachers but its terrible news for students.
The government doesn't care about public schools and even less about their sports, considering their children attend private schools, why should they. We have to stand up and make ourselves heard.
We have to show the government were not ignorant and that we too can protest and make ourselves heard!
We, students caught in this political crossfire, want to take action against the government.
Students are the ones being affected, and it seems that we have the smallest voice.
Take action against Bill 22 and the continuation of sports as our right as Canadian citizens.
