Boycott History, Discovery Channels for 2012 Prophecy Scare Tactics

We, the undersigned, refuse to give in to the “end-of-the-world” hype that the media has spoon-fed people concerning the end of the Mayan calendar on December 21, 2012, and we will not expose our children to this.

We are disappointed that you have decided to jump on this band wagon, and cash in on this scare tactics, to put fear in the minds of your young viewers, who look to you to be educated, to learn about history and science, and how things are built and work.

We ask that you stop airing these specials on this 2012 hoax, where you use theories and claimed evidence that is false, as opposed to facts that you’re supposed to research.

We will not let our children watch these specials that you air, and will even limit time in which they are allowed to watch. We will even tell them not to watch your network, and will even cancel our subscriptions to your networks if we have to. But you must stop using this scam to scare the young who are supposed to think of the future, for purposes or ratings and profit. Thank you.
