Appeal Request for a low GPA

I am from India. At the age of 17, while i was in my 11th grade, I was solomonized into marriage by my parents. I continued with my education after my marriage which was very rare at that time for young married woman to purue her education.

Nevertheless, I enrolled into an undergraduate program, attended a full time university class. In the meanwhile, I went about fulfilling the duties of a wife and as a daughterinlaw and I was also on my way to getting my first child. Having developed mastery over time management, I was able to complete my course buut with a low GPA. The desire in me to be an educator was so intense from an early age, I couldn't stop myself but to enroll into anothe program, Bachelor of Education. By this time, my first child was about 4 years old, I was more mature to handle personal and school matters well.

I completed my B,. Ed with an A. Having got my 2 undergraduate degrees, my desire to be an educator was fulfilled. Eversince, I have been a very successful teacher in several parts of the world, first in India, then in Saudi Arabia, there after in Canada, and now in USA. This is my 14th year of teaching. Before I applied to the position in Usa, I was asked by the fusd to take some graduate courses as my gpa was 2.65. I enrolied in 3 graduate programs from university of california berkely. Not only did i enjoy the courses but i completed them with ease with a 4.0GPA.

The results of the ucberkely would be a good yard stick to measure my ability to hannle any graduate program. Over and above, UI am a person with determination and I set realistic goals in my life. One such goal is to get a Master's degree in Couseling. If i am given an opportunity to study in your university, I am confident of assuring you that i will be very successful.
