Background (Preamble):
This petition is to Stop the Law on One Acre Per Horse - This law is irrational. People might have 20 acres yet the horse is only let out in a 1/4 acre paddock. This law is also not enforced but yet it is used to single out certain farms, so that the Town can change it's ordinance from Agriculture to Residential.
There is much to be said about the unjustification of this law. Horse owners who feed, water, care for their horses and excercise them regularly feel this law is unjust. The ASPCA also states that this law should be voided.
