11 year old Ephraim Brown was killed in a cross fire of a gang shoot out that happened July 22 2007.
He was attending his cousin's birthday party, when he got shot in the neck by a stray bullet, during the shootout, and died at the scene shortly after the police arrived.
We, the undersigned, hereby petition the Government of Canada to pass the necessary legislation in our elected Parliament to ban all handguns, automatic handguns and assault rifles for use in Canada, other than for law enforcement.
If such laws were in place and with much stiffer penalties, many gun related deaths would be prevented.
Your help and concern in this matter is necessary to prevent these deaths in our country.
