Green Living is defined herein as any action or activity that results in a positive impact, to any degree, on the environment so that the planet may continue to support future generations.
We, the undersigned, do hereby request full cooperation and support from Virginia Commonwealth University and The City of Richmond to allow Pi Lambda Phi Omega Rho of Virginia Commonwealth University to conduct "Pi Lambda Phi Green Week".
Pi Lambda Phi Green Week will be from April 18-22nd and will include booths that promote awareness and Green ideas/businesses, a Belle Isle clean up day, a alternative transportation day, a contest for Green ideas/businesses, and other events and activities that shall be approved by VCU and The City of Richmond.
Pi Lambda Phi Green Week will culminate on Earth Day April 22nd with a benefit concert.
Proceeds from Pi Lambda Phi Green Week will go to a Green charity chosen beforehand, as a prize to the Green Idea/Business winner, and back to Pi Lambda Phi Omega Rho to cover expenses associated with the week long event.
