Petition Background (Preamble):
Petition to stop the proposed development of the retirement village and road and save our birds and bushland.
Due to the wide, rare, and diverse variety of bird and other native animal life that depend on the pond and surrounding bushland for food and shelter in the proposed area of development for the retirement village and road in Marmong Point, development application number : DA/2233/2010, also due to the impact on the environment of this fragile eco-system and the reduction of the nature corridor and habitat by the removal of trees, we are strongly opposed to this development.

We the undersigned are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now to stop the proposed development by Empowered Living Support Services Limited of the retirement village and road, development application number: DA/2233/2010, and save our birds and bushland.
