On Friday 18th June the whole staff team at LLU+, London South Bank University, were called to a meeting with Mike Molan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences.
The team were presented with a 'change document' which proposes the phasing out of LLU+'s work and redundancy/redeployment as provision is run down or transferred for the whole staff team.

The management at London South Bank University has proposed in excess of 100 redundancies and the work of LLU+ is under threat.
We, the undersigned, oppose these cuts. We believe that LSBU should seek to sustain and support the work of LLU+ as it plays a crucial role locally, regionally and nationally in developing adult literacy, numeracy, ESOL, family learning and dyslexia support.
