Legalization Of Marijuana

Background (Preamble):
Marijuana should be legal because about half of the world smokes marijuana. Marijuana is just an erb. And all different types of people smoke it, not jus black but whites, mexicans, purto ricans, indians and ect.
Marijuana can actually help many people in today's world. Marijuana can prevent pain, could be used to cure AIDS, and many other diseases including glaucoma, cataracts and many other diseases. Marijuana also just relaxes your muscles in the body and stimulates your mind.
Doctors can proscribe marijuana to you to smoke it for glaucoma or cataracts so why can't you smoke it freely, and the result will be that you would have never gotten glaucoma or cataracts in the first place. Marijuana is also being tested to see if it can be used to prevent Alzheimer. Now when you think about it the state of California has made it legal so why can't the whole United States make it legal.
Marijuana has vary good uses to it. The government has tobacco out in these streets killing over 100,000 people a year from cancer. In 2007 more people died eatting spinach than smoking marijuana. And if marijuana is legalized the smoking age should be the same as smoking tobacco.
