Ms Bangs was fatally injured and died outside Laurance Haines primary school, Vicarage Road, Watford, after a silver Vauxhall Astra van mounted the pavement and hit her on 5th March 2008 at 3.20pm.
In September 1998 a young pupil was killed outside the school in similar circumstances, prompting Hertfordshire County Council to introduce a pedestrian crossing at the site.
If railings were in place her little boy would not have lost his mummy.
We, the undersigned, call on you Hertfordshire councty and/or local government bodies to put further safety precautions into place.
We call on you to place safety railings from Laurance haines school crossings to other side bridge.
