Background (Preamble):
For over 7 years our website has honored the fallen officers in Maryland.
Now it is time to place the names of those who gave their lives protecting the citizens of Maryland, a place for posterity.

Petition:
We are requesting the State of Maryland to donate a parcel of land in Annapolis for the purpose of constructing and maintaining a memorial in honor and memory of the over 300 men and women in law enforcement who gave their lives protecting the citizens of Maryland.
There are over 32 states which honor their fallen Law Enforcement Officers by way of a memorial and hope Maryland can be added to the growing list.
This is the least that we, as citizens of this great State, can do for those who have unselfishly given their lives.
