The Jefferson County Ga. Chapter of the SCLC has launched a "NONVIOLENT DIRECT ACTION CAMPAIGN" on the Wadley Ga. Police department citing that the department is plagued with violence, harassment, and police brutality on the Citizens of Wadley which has plunged the City into a "HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT".

We the citizens, tax payers, and voters of Wadley Ga., Jefferson County demands that the Wadley Ga. chief of police, Mr. wesley Lewis and officer Worman be fired or resign immediately and the whole police department to be overhauled.
