Suzuka (涼風?) is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Kouji Seo. The series is a character-driven romance story that uses the athletics of track and field as a subplot. The story primarily follows the life of the teenager Yamato Akitsuki, who moved to Tokyo to change himself, and his main love interest Suzuka Asahina, a talented and highly scouted high jumper who lives in Yamato's aunt's dormitory and attends his new high school.
Suzuka was serialized in the Japanese magazine Weekly Shōnen Magazine published by Kodansha. It was adapted into a twenty-six episode anime series and aired on TV Tokyo in Japan between 6 July 2005 and 28 December 2005. Both versions of the series have been licensed for release in North America by two different companies. The manga has been licensed for publication by Del Rey Manga under their mature line. The anime series has been licensed and is being released by FUNimation Entertainment.
Suzuka has also made the transition into other media. A twenty-six episode anime directed by Hiroshi Fukutomi and co-produced by Studio Comet and Marvelous Entertainment ran from July through December 2005. The anime was later translated into English and released on DVD by Funimation Entertainment. Two light novels written by Ayuna Fujisaki based on the series have also been released.
2. Review Student Safety Policies 
Recently my 8 year old daughter who was supposed to stay in an afterschool childcare program, was accidentally put on the school bus to ride home. Upon arriving home to an empty house, her bus driver let her off of the bus and left her untill 5:30 in the afternoon. The transportation department claims that they are only responcible for preschoolers and kindtergardeners. I as a parent am outraged at the fact that is is ok for our school system who are responcible for our children, to just be allowed to drop elementary aged school children off regaurdless of age or supervision.

All bus drivers shall meet the qualifications of and be in compliance with the responsibilities noted in Kentucky Administrative Regulations.
Walkthrough at End of Run
Bus drivers shall conduct a walkthrough of their buses at the end of each run to ensure that all students have disembarked at their designated stops.
Disciplinary Action
Bus drivers who fail to observe/perform their responsibilities shall be subject to appropriate disciplinary action.

Regular Bus Stops
Discharge of Pupils
The bus driver shall discharge pupils at their regularly scheduled stops only, except with written authorization from the Principal to discharge a pupil at another location.1 Preschool students shall be transported in accordance with applicable regulations.2
The Principal shall have a written authorization from a child's parents before permitting discharge at a location other than the regular stop.
Exception
The driver may discharge a pupil for disciplinary reasons in accordance with Policy 06.34 of this manual and with 702 KAR 005:080.1

4. Petition Congress To Make A Breach Of Contract With Military A Felony
This petition is written due to the controversy concerning the U.S. Appeals Court decision Allowing Dr. Mary Hanna, a Boston-based physician to legally breach a contract to serve in the Army as a medical officer on the grounds claiming that she is a conscientious objector.
Dr. Hanna accepted fully paid medical education scholarship from the Army and in exchange for receiving that scholarship signed a contract and gave her promise to give 8 years of service to military even after being given a promise by the Army that she would only be ordered to serve on staff as a physician in a military base hospital in Texas, she still refused to report to active duty.

6. Petition for Midyear Reports at PCPS
June 13, 2006
For the second year in a row, parents at Point Clare Public School will NOT be receiving a midyear report on their child's progress.
The only written report being offered to the parent community is the end of year report.
The Department of Education's Policy entitled "Curriculum planning and programming, assessing and reporting to parents K-12" states that: Schools will provide parents/carers with a written report on their child's learning at least twice per year. The components of the written report will meet the Policy Standards. (section 1.3.3).
Written reports are valuable tools for parents to gauge how their child is performing, and to highlight any issues that their child is having within the classroom environment. For parents who work out of the home full time and who are unable to attend class interviews, a written report can be the first indication of any problem their child is having.
It is unacceptable to make this decision without informing the parent community and without asking for our input.
In accordance with this, we would like to ask you to sign this petition, if you would like to have a midyear written report for your child.
7. Contaminated Area, Zip Code 90008

This petition is being sent because of the obvious Contaminated (Black) dirt placed in Santa Barbara Plaza.
A Story written by the "San Francisco Chronicle" did a 10 year study on "Infant Mortality Rates" in California and zip code 90008 has the highest 13.8. This article was written in October 2004, and has 4, parts.
How many of our children (and us) be subjected to Contaminated Air because our City Inspectors took the money too long?
Write or send the article to every plotician (politician) "Too Young To Die".
8. Stop Yoko Ban Of "YESTERDAY"
A Petition to stop the Ban of Beatle Songs written By Sir Paul McCartney By Yoko Ono.
Recently, Nickeldeon has been making many stupid descisions. It really ticks me off how Nick decided to cancel their best and most popular show, Spongebob Squarepants, had they kept on they would make a fortune, but for reasons unknown they want to cancel it, in turn, Nicks other greats, such as Invader Zim, Hey Arnold, and Fairly Oddparents have dark futures ahead of them as well. These are the shows that are holding Nick together, but Nick just can' see that.
In the mean time, you probably have a question, if Nick isn't paying attention to it's good shows what is it paying attention to, Nick is paying attention to it's bad shows. Like heck-awful Rugrats! Oh my god, seasons 1-3 were great, but Nick had to get rid of the good writers and replace them with their cruddy writers, and the show became retarded! Now they are still showing new episodes after 10 stinking seasons! Haven't we had enough of those stupid little babies! As well, it even has a spinoff! All Grown Up, which nobody watches, but they act like it's their best show! Please, in fact, every show made by the Klasky-Csupo company EXCEPT The Wild Thronberry's reeks! As well, even Nickeldeons so-so shows, like Chalkzone, are beggining to become annoying. I would like Nick to change a few things.
1. Save Spongebob from cancellation and make new episodes written by original writers.
2. Save Invader Zim from Cancellation and make new episdoes written by original writers
3. Save Hey Arnold from cancellation and make new episodes written by original writers.
4. Extend Fairly Oddparents air time by a few more seasons and give the show back to Butch Hartman so he can make good new episodes instead of Nick's writers cruddy ones.
5.Cancel Rugrats and All Grown Up, and DO NOT even show reruns!
6. Cancel All other Klasky-Csupo Shows EXCEPT The Wild Thorberry's (which from what I here is already cancelled)
7. Chalkzone was only good in it's first season, please don't ruin it!
10. Eradicate Box Elder Bug Infestation
This petition is written for the express purpose of eliminating the profuse box elder bug population.
11. Lord of the Rings: The 4th Era
Sad to say, with The Return Of The King an end came to the Lord Of The Rings movie trilogy. A sequel movie should be made about the 4th Era of Middle Earth (called, for example, 'Lord of the Rings: The 4th Era')!
It should be possible, because J.R.R. Tolkien has written much about this Era, for instance in the Appendix B of RotK. In the movie also a lot must be shown about Gondor and its dominion by king Aragorn.
12. Resident's Only Parking on Bourbon Street
This petition is being written to request that Resident Only Parking signs be installed on Bourbon Street from Washington Street to Strawberry Lane.
The letter "W" is commonly pronounced as double u, rather than double v which it more closely resembles.
It only resembles a double u when written incorrectly, either by a child or similarly unskilled hand.
To draw a reference from www.dictionary.com:
"It takes its written form and its name from the repetition of a V, this being the original form of the Roman capital letter which we call U".
From this it is obvious that the name is archaic and outdated, and is kept merely out of tradition. As things stand even the French are more up to date, having named there version the French equivalent of a "double v".
As most of Port charles' fans know the show's last airdate is October 3,2003. Many fans are upset and have written and e-mailed the producers. I also have written in and made this petition to send to the producers. I am trying to get as many signatures and hopefully going to help. Please sign to save Port Charles Fate!

There is currently a bill under consideration in the U.S. Senate that would take away the rights of families affected by asbestos to sue asbestos companies in State court. This bill, "Fairness in Asbestos Injury Resolution Act of 2003", and written by Senator Hatch, is neither fair, nor is it a solution.
