As an avid fan and veteran player of the Day Of Defeat series I'd like to request a new game on behalf of the fan base of Day Of Defeat. It's 2011 and there's still 3000 players average every day on DODS.
Almost 7 years as gone by and now Counter Strike Is getting Its third Installment. I think Its only fair to regain the stranglehold on the WW2 genre of multiplayer gaming.
I think the steam program and source engine should be natively ported to Linux.
3. Possitive Connection Out of 270
January 10, 2006
We would like school district 270 to re-evaluate the use of "Positive Connection Transportation Company" as our children's source of transportation to and from school and special events.
Positive Connection has been in use by our school district for 2 years and has yet to place our children as their priority. The parents from Gatewood Elementary school have been more then patient with the buses running anywhere from 15-45 minutes on a daily basis.
On several occasions the weather conditions where less then than suitable for children to sustain for long periods of time (below 0, rain, snow) and the school and transportation board where unaware of these delays for up to 1 hr. after the occurrence.
The transportation hotline is used for relaying information in regards to each delayed bus; the hotline is equipped with the time the message was placed on the hotline along with the date.
This is a great concept however, the transportation company is not being contacted in a timely manor by Positive Connection therefore, the hotline does not get updated which than leaves the parents ill informed.

5. Day of Defeat:source for free
This petition was made to show our disagreement on Valve's decision to sell the Half Life 2 modification, "Day of Defeat: source", instead of letting Half Life 2 owners download it for free.
6. Highlander: The Source end credits to include "Eric Heinemann" name.
All day at work I kept thinking about Eric. How he was taken from us all too young. And how also that as an internet community we need away for us to say farewell to Eric in a proper and lasting manner. I never say goodbye, it's too final.
Well I came up with this and to make it work we need the mods, the admin, and the members onboard.
How about a petition to D/P asking them at the end of "the Source" and at the the beginning of the credits a caption that reads
'In Memory of Eric Heinemann'
1980 - 2005
or
'Dedicated to Eric Heinemann'
1980 -2005
or it can be something simple like
'For Eric'
I don't have the proper contacts. Nor am I the most eloquent writer in the world that could come up with something that could convince TPTB to do this.
And I don't know squat about internet petitions. If we could all band together we could get this to happen.
Does it sound like a fitting tribute to Eric?
Yes or No?
7. Eliminate Odor at Bryant Middle School
A foul smelling odor has been present the entire 2004/5 school year at Bryant Middle School. The odor is more prevalent in the 6th grade area of the building. The odor gets into the students hair, skin, and clothing.
Attempts by the School District to date have not found the cause of the odor or eliminated the odor.
The Dearborn School District should immediately undertake the following actions:
- perform comprehensive air quality testing
- adhere to a rigorous schedule to determine the source of the odor
- take action to eliminate the odor and its source prior to the start of the 2005/06 school year
at Bryant Middle School to ensure the health, safety, and comfort of the children and staff.
Some people say that sports require a natural skill and that anyone can learn how to drive. Well its not just anyone who can drive 200mph for 4 hours with no breaks ever while driving 3 inches away from 43 other cars and trying to get to the finish line before the rest of them.
*SPORT:
1. Physical activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively.
2. An activity involving physical exertion and skill that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often undertaken competitively

I reference the Dictionary.com definition of SPORT above. If you base your opinion solely on this definition then NASCAR is a sport. NASCAR Racing is governed by a set of rules, a set that seems to grow with each race. There is no question NASCAR Racing is very competitive, it requires a certain amount of physical exertion and skill. When you see a driver in need of assistance to simply climb out of his car after a 4hr 500 mile race in the heat of Martinsville, Va. that will leave no doubt in your mind that those drivers have physically exerted themselves over the course of that race.

10. Build The Locker Rooms at T.R. Hughes ballpark
This is a petition that has come about as a result of the lack of action on the part of the city to build adequate locker rooms for the professional minor league team in O'Fallon, Missouri.
Point 1. Part of our agreement with the Frontier League to secure the Rascals was an agreement to provide adequate showering and changing facilities for both the home team and the visiting team. Currently there is not even a restroom which is alloted to the visiting team, let alone showering facilities.
2. The City agreed to build the locker rooms as a part of the original agreement with the ownership of the River City Rascals organization and has failed to build those facilities.
3. Currently the home team must change and shower in a woefully inadequate trailer behind the right field wall. This facility is not only a blight to the city and team, but is a source of difficulty for the team to recruit the league's best available players.
4. The City points the finger at the Rascals for reasons as to why the facility is not built and the team has pointed back at the city. This is childish on both parts and it is time to put aside the bickering and get the facility built.
5. The city agreed to build the facility last year at the same time the 'St. Charles County Hall of Fame' was built on the grounds and once again defaulted on their promise.
6. The Rascals have proven to be a source of great pride and revenue for the city of O'Fallon with thousands of persons from outside the city visiting each summer and infusing tax revenues to the city of O'Fallon in the form of taxes paid on refreshments, souvenirs and tickets prices.
11. Apple, Stop Excluding Minors
This petition aims to change Apple Computer's policy of excluding minors from Apple Developer Connection and Apple open-source development.
12. America's first dog should be pedigreed.
America's first dog should be pedigreed. "Mutts" are the product of irresponsible breeding, that may occur when a pet owner fails to spay or neuter, or worse, abandons, a pet.
Although puppy mills produce pedigreed dogs, and are also irresponsible, there is one source for a dog, and only one source, that promotes responsibility in breeding - the show-dog kennel.
Show-dog kennels are responsible in not breeding animals for profit. They produce puppies for the purpose of finding the next show animal, then sell the rest of the pups as pets. Show-dog kennels promote spay and neuter by placing restrictive contracts on the puppies they sell, requiring spay and neuter of the pups by a certain age, and only allowing those pups to be bred when they are of good quality, and in cases where the breeder of the pup will also practice responsiblity in breeding.
Show-dog pups are raised in home environments, well-socialized and loved. Their parents have been tested for genetic and communicable diseases. They have been given the best of nutrition and veterinary care during their growing period.
Show-dog kennels are the most responsible source for a well-adjusted pet dog, and should be promoted as such.
