2. LET RON PAUL SPEAK

We the people of the United States of America, the land of the free and the home of the brave, are here together as one voice.

We stand together as Republicans, Democrats, Conservatives, Liberals, Libertarians, and Freedom Fighters. We come together from all different beliefs, races, and sexes but we all believe in America. We stand together as friends, we stand together as family, and we stand together as a country.

We ask that you not let the voice of the American people die, and that you restore the belief in our people, so that our great nation may inspire the world all over again. We work as firemen, nurses, cab drivers, teachers, cops, cooks, and customer services representatives. We work at schools, restaurants, and hospitals. We work for the city, for the state, and for the country.

It is our understanding that Republican Presidential candidate Congressman Ron Paul has achieved a plurality of delegates in a minimum of five states. We are asking as one voice that you make our republican convention fair by giving Dr. Ron Paul a speaking slot at the convention. The world has taken notice of this election.

Let us not become a joke to them, but rather an example of the integrity of our great nation. Let the convention showcase the two great leaders from our republican side, that one may emerge to contest Barack Obama. Let us showcase to the world, on the greatest of stages, what a republic looks like.

3. Legalize Medicinal Marijuana Now

After getting feedback, I have been advised to limit the purpose of this petition to medicinal advocacy. I am proposing that the federal government clarify its non-intervention in state affairs concerning respective medicinal laws.

Our prisons are now overflowing with Americans who are there because of this plant, that has been proven to posses medicinal qualities.....

Let's reduce our deficit by legalizing and taxing this product.

4. Gov. McDonnell: Allow WRITE-IN VOTES in GOP Presidential Primary: Pass SB510 Wagner's Bill

We call on the General Assembly and Governor to pass Virginia Delegate Mark Cole's HB 1132 or Virginia Senator Frank M. Wagner's bill SB510 on an emergency basis, to allow WRITE-IN VOTES to be counted in the Virginia Republican primary. Currently write-in votes are prohibited.

On February 3, 2012, the House of Delegates passed HB 1132. http://leg1.state.va.us/cgi-bin/legp504.exe?121+ful+HB1132+pdf
Now it goes on to the Virginia Senate, where Senator Wagner had introduced SB510, but apparenly pulled his bill so the Senate could pass HB1132.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/virginia-politics/post/house-passes-bills-to-allow-primary-write-ins-change-primary-date/2012/02/02/gIQAlgu4kQ_blog.html

We believe that the most important interest, which should not be forgotten by our political leaders in Virginia, is THE RIGHT OF THE INDIVIDUAL VOTER to cast a ballot vote for the candidate of his or her choice.

It is THE INDIVIDUAL VIRGINIA VOTER whose rights are in danger of being forgotten entirely while much has been discussed about procedures, "inside baseball" details, and the diligence of candidates in securing a spot on the Republican Presidential primary ballot. Yes, certain candidates earned a prominent place on the ballot. But the voter should not be censored or restrained.

We believe that even Mitt Romney's campaign team, would create a very good impression by honoring those voters' right to vote for whomever they want. Any one who wants to be President of our nation and our people should demonstrate that he or she cares more about us, We The People, than about himself or herself.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS *CAN* TAKE EFFECT BY MARCH 6, but it requires the General Assembly to pass the law as "emergency" legislation. It can be done.

5. Ron Paul as SNL Host

Ron Paul is denied airtime by every major news organization and he deserves to be heard. If the media refuses to let him speak he should utilize other outlets to get his name out there.

Not only would it be a great political move for Paul but NBC would also benefit because Paul supporters would most certainly tune in and regular viewers would get a chance to see one of the candidates that has been silenced so far.

7. Urge Congressman Tom McClintock Endorse Ron Paul for President

Whereas, California Congressman Tom McClintock (R- District 4) has not yet endorsed a candidate for president in 2012;

Whereas, Texas Congressman Ron Paul is running for president in 2012;

Whereas, Paul believes that government should not restrict the liberties of the people, saying: "Liberty means to exercise human rights in any manner a person chooses so long as it does not interfere with the exercise of the rights of others."

Whereas, McClintock shares strong pro-life values with Paul, who was endorsed for president by Norma McCorvey (Jane Roe) in 2008 because he introduced the Sanctity of Life Act, a bill to define human life as beginning at conception and remove jurisdiction over abortion from the federal courts to allow the states to pass protection to the unborn;

Whereas, Paul has asked, “If you can’t protect life then how can you protect liberty?”;

Whereas, Paul believes the federal government should not police the world, opposes wars of aggression in foreign lands and seeks equal protections for both the born and the unborn by advocating persuasion in preference to force;

Whereas, McClintock opposed the war in Libya, stating, "The President may only commit armed forces to hostilities for sixty days if there is a direct attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions or its armed forces" and Paul shares this sentiment, stating, "The president attacked Libya abruptly – he didn’t even bother to consult Congress – so why can’t he order an end to military action just as abruptly?"

Whereas, Paul says he will focus on fixing America's economic problems and make it a priority to defund endless wars, such as those in Iraq and Afghanistan, which are estimated to have already cost a combined $1.2 trillion;

Whereas, these wars, along with other federal spending such as the bailouts, entitlement programs and other unconstitutional programs, have been funded by the Federal Reserve through a massive expansion of the money supply;

Whereas, the Federal Reserve's ability to interfere with the money supply has caused skyrocketing prices and sparked the collapse of the dollar's value, as predicted by Paul in 2002, when he said, "Federal Reserve policy will continue at an expanding rate, with massive credit expansion, which will make the dollar crisis worse";

Whereas, McClintock voted against H.R. 2016 - Homeland Security Appropriations Act, and Paul predicted the police state overseen by the Department of Homeland Security in 2002, saying, "Erosion of civil liberties here at home will continue as our government responds to political fear in dealing with the terrorist threat by making generous use of the powers obtained with the Patriot Act";

Whereas, throughout the land, the federal government has sent hither swarms of officers to harass the people, examples of which are seen in the fining of a family $4 million for raising rabbits, a Department of Education SWAT raid to collect overdue student debt, raids by the FDA of family businesses that sell milk and a multitude of other cases;

Whereas, Paul supports a truly free market and would allow the economy to thrive naturally by eliminating the income tax, fazing out entitlement programs and ending the Federal Reserve's manipulation of the organic market;

Whereas, McClintock was first elected to Congress by only 1800 votes in 2008, after having received Paul's endorsement;

Whereas, McClintock claims to have voted for Ron Paul for president in the 2008 Republican primaries;

8. Paul Kucinich 2012

Every generation has to pick its leaders. Its hero. It movements. This is the time we claim what is ours! The current generation of young adults have the passion, ingenuity, the tools and the opportunity to accomplish this goal.

The time is now. To break enormous political barriers that exist in the current electoral system. A system which favors candidates that have the backing of only the two major parties and the backing of billions of dollars to fuel their campaigns. These billions are essentially bribes to direct policy.

These two men are out casts in their parties. Essentially they are true liberals and true conservatives. Ones who actually are true in their values of why they choose to label themselves liberal or conservative.

9. End The Fed

HR 2755: has been created by presidential candidate Congressman Ron Paul and is due to go before the Congress for approval in February 2009.

This petition is to let congress know that we expect them to support this bill. Support of this bill will help bring an end to the Federal Reserve Board and the terrible monetary policies behind the world's financial crisis.

10. Open letter to Ron Paul and Jesse Ventura

WE the American conservative and freedom loving voters are sick and tired of all the lies and corrupt politics that have been going on in this country for so long. We need and demand an honest Politician to be elected that has Americas best interests at heart and is willing to defend, honor, and uphold the United States Constitution regardless of the cost, or the general popularity.

We believe that based on the 20 year voting record of Dr. Ron Paul, and the Independent governorship of Jessie Ventura, that these two statesman would give us back honesty and virtue to the Presidency and Vice-Presidency of these United States.

11. Americans Against Media Censorship of Presidential Candidate Ron Paul

Since the debates began in 2007, in preparation for the 2008 presidential election, the media has routinely failed to give 2008 presidential candidate & Texas Congressman (R)Ron Paul, either equal time as afforded all others, or in most cases, censored him via preclusion; and to such extent, that as a result, many Americans never knew of him.

This is a blatant attempt to influence the outcome at the polls, and should neither be allowed, condoned or tolerated.

13. Impeach President Bush

Which do you like better: Rule of Law, or Rule of a Person?

The United States was founded upon the principle of Rule-of-Law. Under that system, the people make a rule that applies equally to everyone and takes the needs of everyone (not just the majority) into consideration. The rule then governs the people. To enforce the rule, an administration is constructed with specifically designed decentralization of power. In order for the Rule to govern, the administration must have less power than the people and no single part of the administration can have the power to effect change by itself.

Today, our administration has more power than the people and that power is centralized within the office of the president, who has the ability to effect change by himself. The rule no longer governs us. A person governs us. As Americans, we no longer worry about how to obey the law because it is irrelevant. Our concern is how to stay on the government's good side. This rule-of-a-person is called despotism. By ignoring U.N. rule of law, we are also spreading despotism to the world.

Even though most Americans haven't identified the cause, we know that something is wrong. Deep inside, we no longer feel free. We look around and see wealth and security and a well-oiled system and we tell ourselves that this is freedom, but freedom is defined in the Declaration of Independence as government by consent of the governed. Our well-oiled system was built through rule-of-law and government by consent of all. Without it, our wealth and security and well-oiled system will fail.

The Declaration of Independence defines freedom as government by consent of the governed. Two hundred years ago, American government was at the consent of the governed, a concept that seems foreign to most Americans today. Yet, we can take our freedom back by proving to our president that the United States is still a nation of the people -- That when our chief executive tries to steal the power of the legislative and judicial branches, we can and will fire him.
