The Trillium Lakelands District School Board has introduced new policies which have required cafeterias to remove all coffee and other caffeinated products from their shelves, causing an impact in their revenue with virtually no benefits.
This petition is targeted towards the TLDSB with the hopes that they will realize the uproar involved in removing such caffeinated products, and do further research in determining all, if any, adverse health effects caused by such beverages.

I like their music..... their music made a difference in my life.... And I would like to see them get an award for all their hard work.
I see them not only as musicians but also as artists.
The B-52s (originally formatted as The B-52's) can be considered a New Wave rock band, formed in Athens, Georgia, United States, in 1976. In their heyday, their music was marked by the female harmonies of Cindy Wilson (vocals) and Kate Pierson (keyboards, vocals), Ricky Wilson's (guitar) surf-style guitar, Keith Strickland's (drummer) "go-go beat" drumming, and the generally spoken word or sprechgesang male vocal counterpoint of Fred Schneider (percussion, vocals). The resulting unique "guy vs. gals" vocals, sometimes used in call and response style (as in their songs "Private Idaho" and "Good Stuff"), are a trademark of the band. Presenting as a positive, enthusiastic, slightly wacky party band, the B-52s have focused on songs telling tall tales ("Rock Lobster", "Girl from Ipanema Goes to Greenland"), glorifying wild youth ("Love Shack", "Deadbeat Club"), or celebrating wild romance ("Strobe Light", "Hot Pants Explosion"), all set to a danceable New Wave beat.
The correct name for the band had long been "The B-52's", but in 2008 they dropped the apostrophe, with their official website and Funplex album and single covers reading "The B-52s".
6. Stop the Fat Tax: Say No to taxes on pop, water, juice, and other foods
Our Federal Government is proposing a new tax that will be placed on non-alcoholic beverages such as soda, pop, juice, and water, but not limited to these items.
On top of that they want to include in this tax fast and convenience foods which would be anything from chips to your favorite food from a drive thru dinner. This tax has been labeled as the Fat Tax.
They feel by adding this tax they can use the revenue to fund part of the healthcare reform. This tax will really hurt the middle class families and families that receive food assistance.

9. Pop-culture/Anime convention for Darwin
Darwin has a newly created convention center which would be perfect for pop culture convention, It also has many citizens who like to watch/read anime or who are generally interested in popular culture.
We feel it is a great opportunity to expand on the cities cultural limits and its renown in the general area. It can be educational and teach many people about foriegn culture while bringing tourists from all over the country.

Chris just called up BBC Radio 1 to announce that Coldplay are playing a string of stadium shows in September 2009. The dates are as follows:
Saturday 12th September - Manchester LCCC
Wednesday 16th September - Glasgow Hampden Park
Saturday 19th September - London Wembley Stadium"
So as you can see, they are doing the Australian tour before doing the UK tour. Why not in the mean time, they drop by our sunny little island and amaze us with their music? Hehe

12. The Spice Girls Reunion tour on dvd
The spice girls are the greatest pop group that started in the 90s, they broke up in 2000, but reunited in 2007 to kick off their reunion tour which sold out in seconds, unfortunatly the tour ended quicker than expected but for those that couldnt see it, they should come out with the tour dvd.
13. Get Jimmy Robbins in Popstar Magazine!
Jimmy Robbins is an acoustic/pop singer signed to Universal Motown Records. He has a huge fanbase, and his song "Step One" is already in rotation on Radio Disney.

The people making the Prince Of Persia movie have announced that they're casting Jake Gyllenhaal (Brokeback Mountain) as the Prince.
If that's not bad enough, they're giving the Prince, who's been known as "The Prince" ever since he was first created, the name Dastan. This is outragious! This is like renaming Scooby Doo!

We have all seen and heard what has been going on with Britney Spears. Most people are just sick of it.
It is sickening to watch someone waste their life away. It is even more sickening the amount of attention we still give her.
We need to stop putting her on a pedestal and make her realize she is a normal human being like the rest of us, and if she continues down this path she will have consequences like the rest of us.
Life just hasn't been the same since the POP MAN upped and left town, for a start you dont get your 15p back on plastic coke bottles.

In 1997, an advertisement was placed in the UK performing arts newspaper The Stage, asking for young male singers/dancers to audition for a boy band-style group with "attitude and edge".
Bob and Chris Herbert, the two men who had earlier created the Spice Girls, thought the time was right for a male group. 3,000 hopefuls auditioned and they were finally narrowed down to only fourteen, five of whom had arranged themselves into a group while waiting for their audition and subsequently were signed with BMG/RCA for a six-album deal.
24. Put GOOD Music On The Spongebob Movie Soundtrack
Nickelodeon has had a hisrotry of putting terrible music on it's TV Show's movies. Like Aaron Carter, Briteny Spears, Nick Cannon, Backstreet Boys, Baha Men, and other terrible rappers/popsters appear on the soundtracks of almost every Nick movie. We would not like Spongebob Squarepant's Movie to suffer the same sort of musical pain. Artists like this should be replaced by other, good artists.
Bands that probably suit Spongebob's nature better include Led Zeppelin, The Ramones, blink-182, AC/DC, "Wierd" Al Yankovich, and many other rockers and comedy musicians.
We would like to see artists like this on the Spongebob movie soundtrack instead of the other Pop/Rap oriented ones above.
Fans of the British Pop Idol Will Young want his albums and singles released in the United States.
26. Give Don Pancho A Record Deal
Don left Popstars fairly but i believe that he deserved another week to prove himself. All he did was try something different that didn't go down so well with the majority. I honestly believe that despite this Don Pancho deserves a record contract.
