Brazil and South America in general are a fertile territory for metal concerts. Many metal bands have been to Brazil in the last years, such as In Flames, Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, etc, but Soilwork has not played in South America.

Legendary band Tool have announced their first AUS/NZ headlining tour since 2002. But they have skipped the City of Perth to the dismay of many Tool fans living there.
Perth would easily be able to accomodate a Tool gig in the newly opened Perth Arena, and more than likely be able to sell all the tickets.
3. No More Bed Time For Soundwave 
Every year in February and March, the Soundwave Festival tours Australia, bringing much-anticipated international and national bands to our shores for one day of hardcore excitement. However, due to scheduling conflicts, many of the festival's punters are unable to see the bands they want. In fact, hundreds have voiced their displeasure in the timetable on various platforms.
To solve this situation, we, the 300,000+ strong fanbase request that, to accommodate for these horrific clashes and the disappointed and saddened fans, the curfew be reconsidered for the festival in it's 5 states. As ticket holders, we feel that we should be able to see the bands we want without having to make a heart-breaking choice. The festival is, for many, the only way to see these bands, so you could (hopefully) understand the frustration and sadness that arises from these bands clashing.
We ask that you please consider lifting the curfew to the fair suggestion of midnight. If the show were to run a mere 2 hours longer, many of these clashes would not only be resolved, but bands would be able to play longer sets for their high-paying, loyal fans.
Note from Sarah-Jane: I, myself am attending Soundwave with my special needs sibling and a friend who legally blind. I will not feel safe with punters running between stages between acts for my sibling and friend. I feel the curfew raises safety issues. A longer timeset would ensure more bands could play in the one allocated spot. Additionally I am worried about the crowds forcing their way to the front of stages after other acts at different stage locations causing fights and drama.
Note: This petition is directed at the council and venues of the Soundwave events (excluding sideshows). We fully support and appreciate Soundwave staff and what they do for their fans.
We the MGS Fans want from Hideo Kojima, the Producer &/or Director of Metal Gear Solid want from him to port Port MGS Twin Snakes, MGS Portable Ops, Portable Ops+, Metal Gear Acid & Metal Gear Acid 2 to the HD Collection Vol 2. & VOl 3. to PS3, PS 4, XBOX 360, XBOX 720 &/ The Nintendo Wii-U Consoles!
And also we want Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops & Peace Walker to be made as novels!

6. Bring Metal Back to Rochester
The Rochester, New York music scene is rich with rock roots. Listening to all the "new" rock music is just stale. Bring back metal and hard rock to the airwaves, much like The Nerve had done.
Anyone who wants to bring life back to the radio, sign this petition to be sent to FQMB, the leader in Rochester's radio management.

8. Metallica To play a small warm up gig before Download 2012
I'm starting off this petition as a huge and epic request not just from a huge metallica fan but a fan of metal. I run and organise a rock/metal night at DeBees Music Bar in a small town of Winsford, Cheshire, UK and i am opening up this offer to James, Lars, Kirk and Robert to play this venue before taking the stage at the Download Festival, Donington, UK.
You may have heard this from thousands of fans from around the world but at least acknoledge this petition to say yay or nay, i don't have much money but will do ANYTHING to make this happen, so please respone to the e-mail address and will give more info on request.

13. Free Ryan Tucker
Ryan Tucker now 29 years old went from an abusive home to prison with no stops in between, he also suffers with epilepsy, has a brain tumor and has had his skull sliced into by a metal fan blade, he depends on medication to survive each day but he also needs therapy to help his rehabilitation.
Returning to prison will not help him become a better citizen, it will destroy the true man inside.
14. Dir En Grey - Please Play In Scotland Again!!!
Everyone i ask to listen to Dir En Grey's music suddenly becomes a fan. They are an amazing band with a very original sound.
Many people could not make it to Glasgow for the Kerrang Tour, and i for one am very sad [v.v] I would be delighted if Dir En Grey were to play in Scotland around the dundee/aberdeen area, and so would many others.
Pantera was one of the most popular metal bands around, and they had an amazing guitarist, known best as Dimebag Darrell. He was shot on December 8th, 2004 and killed.
Guitar Hero has put 1 song by Pantera, out of all the games they have released. "Coboys From Hell" and that's not really the best guitar song to have by Pantera.
They have neglected songs like "Walk," "Cemetary Gates," "Floods," and a bunch more!
Metal is the most powerful and purest form of music on the planet with thousands of loyal followers!
It's time to make METAL a religion.
As you all should know, this is a petition to bring Trivium to Townsville. On the 14th of May, Kyle and Ken the Radio Men spoke to the frontman of Trivium, Matt Heafy, about the petition and we captured his reaction in the interview which will be aired on the 5th of June, see below for details.
While we have already given Matt all the signatures we had received by the 14th of May, we will keep this online petition open so that if any one new finds out about the petition they can still sign to bring Trivium up to Townsville. It would be great if the current number of 468 signatures on here could increase a bit more.
Who wouldn't want one of the fastest rising metal bands in the world kicking off the metal scene here in Townsville. According to Kerrang, "Sabbath... Maiden... Metallica... TRIVIUM - The Hottest Metal Band Of The Century." While Trivium has faced a lot of controversy over the past few years we guarantee that after listening to their latest album Shogun as well as seeing the band live you see how Trivium has silenced the critics and you will agree that Trivium has definately earnt the reputation as one of the greatest metal bands of the century.
If all you had to do to help kick the metal scene off in Townsville was to sign this petition and then go to the Trivium concert and have a good time with one of the world's greatest live bands then why wouldn't you do it?
18. Bring Tenacious D To Perth/Adelaide
Would Be Great If Tenacious D Would Do A Concert In Perth & Adelaide Because It Would Be Classic!
On 15th February 2008, The Crypt launched a weekly metal night. Housed within The Spinner's Arms, in Hadfield, Derbyshire, it was a unique venue.
Although tiny, it rapidly established a solid reputation, with both bands and music lovers. Bands loved playing there and people enjoyed the chance to see bands from all over the UK, for free.
Although a critical success, The Crypt was never given the chance to become a commercial one. After only 3 months, the decision was made to stop the metal gigs.
This decision was made by the pub's financial backers, on economic grounds. As a non-ticketted venue, The Crypt was funded by the bar takings, and wasn't taking enough money on Friday nights to justify the expense.
It is quite likely that, instead of metal gigs, The Crypt will now be used mainly as a "clubland" disco, as this has lower overheads and is potentially more profitable.
It is our belief that there is enough support to make The Crypt an economically viable metal venue, and we are asking for as many people as possible to help us prove that.
20. Sabretung to support Iron Maiden
Dainty Consolidated Entertainment has announced Behind Crimson Eyes as the Australian Support for Iron Maiden for Sydney and Brisbane. This band is not a metal band and DO NOT deserve the opportunity to be supporting a band that is obviously not one of their influences.
Sabretung are a burgeoning thrash metal band from Newcastle NSW and are long time Iron Maiden fans and DO deserve this opportunity to open for one of their heroes.
21. Dream Theater Australia 2008, Venue change for Perth
Dream Theater are performing an Australian tour early next year (2008), with the following dates:
January
25th Perth Showgrounds
27th Adelaide Showgrounds
29th Melbourne Festival Hall
30th Sydney The Horden
February
1st Brisbane Riverstage
They start the tour in Perth, on the 25th at Claremont Showgrounds. It is feared that the show is intended to be held at the Showground's Robinson Pavilion.
It is a general consensus of the metal community, among many other fans of the band, as well as fans of other genres who have seen other acts/bands there, that the venue "Robinson Pavilion" is unsuitable for Dream Theater's performance, mostly on the basis of the sound quality of the venue, compared to the nature of the bands on-stage act.
It is believed that such a venue would taint the quality of the performance to the ears of those who would attend, hence it is proposed that the Perth date for the Dream Theater tour, be moved to another venue. Possible suggestions include: Challenge Stadium, Burswood Dome, Metro City.
If you agree that that Dream Theater should be at a different, more suitable venue, please place your signature on the petition.
22. Bring Bullet For My Valentine To Perth/West Coast Of Australia
Bullet For My Valentine Are Having Their First Tour Of Australia This Year (2007), But Are Only Touring Brisbane, Melbourne And Sydney, But Not The West Coast Of Australia.
CMS Metal Products which is located at 909 8th Ave. in our Eastveiw neighborhood is a mess again. This business has fridges, deep freezes, stoves, water heaters, bikes and anything anybody wishs to drop off there.
This business has made Eastveiw a junkyard, garbage disposaL where people can drop their garbage off at anytime on to city property. I have complained to the City of Regina on numerous occassions such as December 9, 2006

24. Petition against the metal storage unit next to the pool

25. Murderworld to play Metalstock 2007
MurderWorld are one of the heaviest, hard-working, talented, and coolest thrash bands in Australia right now.
MetalStock is one of the premier metal festivals of Australia.
Yet MurderWorld can't be seen anywhere on the festival's line-up for 2007.
With nine more acts yet to be announced, any metal fan who has a remote interest in live music and quality aggresive thrash should be hoping that MurderWorld are one of these nine bands.
26. Bring Konami's Metal Gear Solid 4 to Xbox 360
Xbox 360 currently has the largest install base of users with over 8 Million. It is expected that the Xbox 360 will further increase it’s market share in this console generation due to the exceptionally high price point of the PS3. The large install base equates to many gaming fans.
Gaming fans deserve the best games out there – namely Konami’s Metal Gear Solid 4.
27. Get State Of Integrity to play OVERCRANKED!
For the second year in a row, State Of Integrity have not been put on the bill for Overcranked.
They are one of the top 3 bands in Brisbane, and have a large following.
It is only fair they should get to play.
28. CATWITCH FOR METALSTOCK 2007
Melbourne's Goth Metal Shock Rockers, for more than 10 years Catwitch have shocked audiences with their on stage theatrics and Gothic Metal sounds, blending Alice Cooper with My Dying Bride while giving their own style of melodic goth metal mayhem.

29. Get Tourettes On the BDO 2007!!!
Tourettes have a massive underground following, let's show that they have the fan base to put them on a stage at the BDO!!!

The Intrepid Fox pub on Wardour Street in Soho is a landmark for the alternative / rock/ goth movement of London. There has been a pub at that location since 1784.
The property has recently been sold and news has only now been made public that the landlord and staff have just a few weeks to vacate the premises.
It is believed that the property has been sold to a company to develop into flats.
