1. Traffic Light in Torbay intersection near schools
The town of Torbay is a beautiful place to live and raise a family. One major turn off from this town is the speed in which the traffic travels and there are congested intersections that are extremely difficult to get out of in a timely manner.
The intersection of Torbay Road, Marine Drive and Convent Lane being one of them. During times of high traffic it can be very hard to exit in either direction to make a left hand turn onto Torbay road from Marine Drive or Convent Lane due to the fact that you can not see very far in either direction. You have a blind hill on one side and a blind turn on the other side.
In my opinion this is quite hazardous. Not to mention that there is not one but two schools less than a half of a kilometre from this intersection and the school buses drivers use this to exit onto the main drag to return their precious passengers home at he end of the school day. The speed of the traffic and inability to see the vehicles coming is dangerous for those children who are walking home and need to cross Torbay Road. Although there is a flashing yellow light, it isn't enough.
So before something tragic happens, I am suggesting that a four-way traffic light be placed at the intersection of Torbay Road, Marine Drive and Convent Lane.
2. Intention for the Well Being of ALL
To my friends and global family,
It is time to join together to declare a new vision for our world. My intention is to have ten million people add their signature and energy to help transform human consciousness.
If you feel moved to help in this endeavor, please share the following declaration with others.
Thank you.
3. Properly Regulate Alcohol Sales and Brown Bagging
This is our present city ordinance.
It shall be unlawful for a convenience store, service station or other type of retail establishment holding a permit authorizing the sale of beer and light wine for off-premises consumption to:
(1) To sell beer or light wine to any person between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Monday through Saturday, and between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
(2) To permit consumption of beer or light wine on the premises of the store or retail establishment.
(3) To sell, give or furnish beer or light wine to any person visibly intoxicated or to any insane person, or to any habitual drunkard, or to any person under the age of twenty (21) years.
(4) To permit on the premises any lewd, immoral, or improper entertainment, or conduct or practices.
(5) To permit or suffer gambling or the operation of games of chance upon the licensed premises unless otherwise allowed by the Mississippi Gaming Act.
(6) To receive, possess or sell on the premises any beverage of any kind or character containing more than five (5) percent alcohol by weight.
(7) To display or sell beer or light wine from an ice tub or similar container, other than a mechanical refrigeration unit.
This is our present city ordinance. There are some people in our community that would like to change the ordinance due to the fact they say we are losing much needed sales tax revenue to the county and Louisiana, where beer and light wine can be purchased all day, every day.
4. Stop Progress Energy Increased Rates
Progress Energy has recently increased their bills causing people to pay twice their normal bills to pay for the construction of a nuclear power plant in Tampa, Florida. Nuclear power is very dangerous, and to place one in a populated area is indisputably reckless.
The cost of the plant is 17 billion dollars and Progress Energy currently serves 1.7 million people. This means that the price each household will pay (if split evenly) is 10,000 dollars. At the current rate, a little less that 8 percent (115.32 annually), this increase will be in effect for nearly 87 years unless more increases are to come to speed up the process. That's 87 years of these intense conditions, and in order to reduce the time, the payments must increase even more.
If you think it doesn't apply to you because you don't live in Florida think again. President Obama stated on February 16th "Investing in nuclear energy remains a necessary step" and "this is only the beginning." He plans to create nuclear power plants all over the US saying each one will create thousands of construction jobs with only 800 being permanent.
5. Waiver the requirement for an acoustic assessment for properties near light rail
In order to get a construction certificate for properties near the rail corridor, home owners in NSW currently need to get an acoustics assessment The Department of Planning applies this condition to all properties near the rail corridor regardless of the type of rail operating. In the "Development Near Rail Corridors and Busy Roads Interim Guidelines 2007", it is stated that ‘The impact from railway depends on a range of factors including train type.’(p14).
However, The Department of planning does not make any distinction between the different types of rail in practical application. Therefore an acoustic assessment is required by anyone who wants to develop a property located near rail regardless of the type of rail it is.
This requirement is excessive in the case of light rail as the noise generated by light rail is significantly less than other types of rail.
6. Provide a stop light for Northside Apostolic Church
We the people of the community request a traffic light be installed at the intersection of Hwy 29 and 9 1/2 mile road located in North Pensacola. A traffic light is desperatley needed at the intersection of Hwy 29 and 9 1/2 mile rd. There have been numerous accidents with three of them causing fatalities in the past 4 months.
Members of Northside Apostolic rd located at the intersection fear for their life or that an accident may occur each night they head to church. Parents fear an accident may occur when arriving at this intersection on the way to taking their children to and from Pine Meadow Elementary School which is located close to the intersection as well.
Please help us as concerned people of the community to get a traffic light at this intersection before another fatality occurs.
7. Student’s Right to use the Campus our Tuition and Tax Dollars Built at the U of U
"Lack of activity destroys the good condition of every human being, while movement and methodical physical exercise save it and preserve it." ~Plato
A group of approximately 25 students of all races, nationalities and ethnicities, was recently denied access to soccer fields located near the HPER buildings to play “The Worlds Beautiful Game”, soccer, on a late Thursday evening. The students were also warned that security would be called if they proceeded to use the empty soccer field.
The reason’s for denial of use of the field that were stated in a brief conversation with an administrator at the College of Health, the College responsible for the field, were that the students did not reserve the field, but also did not pay $30 an hour to utilize the field.
It is interesting to note that in years past, this fee was not applied to anyone who used these fields but is now being done so due to recent budget cuts. Ironically, all 25 of the students could have swiped their U-cards to use the heated indoor pool inside the HPER complex or have gone to the Field House to play basketball, lift weights, or play indoor soccer. The students would not have been charged further to use those facilities.
It quickly became apparent the ‘Mandatory Fee’s’ that are addendum to students tuition did not cover this field. Rudimentary research to ascertain what the ‘Mandatory Fees’ that accompany the tuition are quickly shows that these fee’s go to: ‘ASUU Activity, Athletic, Building, Collegiate Reader Program, Computing, Fine Arts, Utilities, Health, Library, Publication Council, Recreation, Study Abroad, Sustainability, and Transportation budgets.’ In light of the highlighted budgets, it would seem evident that use of the soccer fields is a fundamental right that students garner when attending this institution
This denial of campus grounds is far more egregious after contacting the city and county about their reservation policies and charges on the use of their soccer fields, softball fields, basketball courts, and tennis courts and discovered that the city and county do not charge for use of their facilities, even in this economic recession. In addition, BYU does not force their students to reserve and pay to use campus ground.
To add to this incendiary act, the group of students was of an international origin, making this denial of use an international disgrace. Despite being a large commuter campus, student life of all forms should be supported; especially those activities that are constructive and healthy in nature. In light of student fee’s paid, burdening students further with financial obligations to play something that is otherwise free elsewhere is in principal a folly and sinister in nature, especially since one of the fields is in near unplayable condition,

8. Request for a traffic light at the intersection of highway 33 and Braums
There have been numerous amounts of traffic accidents at highway 33 and Braums/Loves intersections. This takes place in Guthrie, OK.

On July 29, 2007, Dibor Roberts, a 48 year old black female, an African born woman naturalized in the US in 2006, was driving home from her job as a nursing assistant at 10:30PM. A Yavapai County Sheriff's deputy says he clocked her speeding on Beaverhead Flat Rd. He came up behind her, turned on his lights. She was afraid to stop in an unlit area and wanted to get to a lighted area.
There had been recent reports of police impersonators and she was afraid. He cut her off forcing her to stop, approached her car with gun drawn, broke her rear passenger window, took her cellphone and threw it on the ground, pulled her from her car and handcuffed her. She was charged with assaulting the officer, fleeing and resisting arrest. The assault charge was dropped. She was convicted on May 16 of resisting arrest and fleeing.
The judge sentenced her to 6 months unsupervised probation and reduced one charge to a misdemeanor. Dibor Roberts was not fleeing - she was afraid and was trying to get to a lighted area. The police recommend that women do that -- but until it is a law, women are not protected from police impersonators or from officers exerting unnecessary force in making a stop.
11. Reduce Light Pollution in Colorado
Petition Background: Lights!!!! Lots of them too. When lights goes on at all night, those lights cost the tax payers a lot of money. So why not reduce the amount of lighting. Americans do not need all of the lights.
Our ancestors did not need lights. They relied on the moon and stars to find their way at night. Neither do we. Coloradins do not need to relay on lights because we the moon and stars. They are all we need at night. So turn off the lights.
I suggest that Coloradins turn out the lights at nine thirty at night. But yes you can keep up to four lights on (porch light counts as one but TV does not).
12. Stop Noises From Industrial Park
Since 2005, Cereal Ingredients has operated a plant in the light industrial park located north of 10th and Eisenhower road. The area is suppose to be for light industrial use.
Instead the plant has operated on an irregular basis making high-pitched heavy industrial noises even during the quiet hours of the evening. The city officials and plant owners understand that noise is a problem but neither wish to address the problem.
13. Traffic Light at 62nd Ave. and Ward Rd.
As of right now there are 6 other intersections considered to be more important/dangerous, that are in need of traffic lights.
Arvada can only budget enough to put in 1 light per year. With this it would be 6 years before a light would be even considered to put up there.
A traffic light costs roughly $250,000 dollars to put up. If the city does not think it is priority, friends and family of the victims of this fatal crash do.
If everyone can donate as much as they can, I feel we can raise enough money by the end of this year to get the light put up on 62nd and Ward rd and finally take care of this problem that has been occurring for nearly 15 years now.
14. Traffic Light @ Pineridge Estates Entrance & 96th
There was a very bad accident on 96th Street and Pinecreek Way at the Pine Ridge Estates subdivision entrance on August 27th, 2007.
This is the second such accident in the last few months.
It is impossible for pedestrians to cross 96th street or cars to make a left turn onto 96th street.
To avoid serious injury and/or death it is imperative a stop light be installed.
15. Sophie Ellis-Bextor: Release 'If You Go' As A Single
Fascination Records (a sub-label of Polydor Records) have announced that 'If I Can't Dance' will be the next single released from Sophie Ellis-Bextor's third album 'Trip The Light Fantastic'.
We call upon them to realise that this is not the song that will save the album, after 'Today The Sun's On Us' flopped in at #64, and that instead the pop epic 'If You Go' will be the song that finally gives the fantastic 'TTLF' the large success it deserves.
Please consider that 'If You Go' has received an overwhelming reception and is by far the fan favourite from the album amongst the online community, and with proper promotion will be guaranteed to score a hit for Sophie.
We're aiming for 5,000 signatures, which would probably be sufficient to give Sophie a top 20 with 'If You Go'.
EDIT: Sophie has announced there will be no more singles from the TTLF era and will instead be releasing a Greatest Hits album in the winter, pencilled in for November. Therefore this petition is closed.
16. New traffic light for road extending to 212 freeway
June 19, 2006
There are 3 cities meeting within 2 miles on one road. County Road 17. They are Excelsior, Shorewood and Chanhassen.
This road will be extending for several miles to become a connecting road to a new Highway 212. The Speed limits on this road are simply illogical. Toward the south side of the road where the road has a median and turning lanes it is 45 miles per hour. To the North side it rapidly changes from 50 mph down to 45 mph down to 30 mph entering another highway called Highway 7.
Where Excelsior is there are many homes that are close together and has driveways to what was for many years a low traffic road. Now that this highway is coming in the travelers are driving on it like it is a highway even though it is at Lake Lucy Road and Carver Beach Road only two lanes with poor visual sightways for people seeing it from the cross streets.
They are easily in a blind spot unless they drive over a crosswalk area for walkers and bicyclists to also use so they end up partially into the intersection in order to see easily cars on the main road. I avoided a 5 car collision by about about one foot of out car. Experience with this intersection I am afraid to even cross it when the coast is clear as some car might come bounding down it at 70 miles per hour.
There are several residential streets and driveways in that area like in Excelsior though fewer. The County upgraded a Police Officer to a more expensive car to give tickets. But I see the need is greater for putting a traffic light at either Lake Lucy Road or Carver Beach Road to allow for safe entrance and exit out of the road for drivers including many who have children they need to take back and forth to school.
17. One Car Tint Law
March 21, 2006
Did you know that in South Australia we have very unique car tinting laws to that of every other state.
On the front side windows, the tint has to be lighter than the back with 70% light transmittance and 35% on the back. This makes for very ugly cars and it also makes it near impossible for people bringing in cars to be registered from interstate, as they have to remove the tint. It also makes it difficult and more expensive to comply with SA law, as most tinters will make it more expensive to use different tints.
Every other state allows 35% tint all over, so why not SA? Let's change this and make it easier and cheaper for people in SA to get car tint, while also making it easier to move from interstate to SA.
18. Saving lives - traffic light for Rose Bowl Lane in Dover
March 14, 2006
I'am asking people to sign this petition so that I can get a traffic light or cation light put up where I lived.
I feel like if there was one before maybe my brother and other's would not have been killed on Rose Bowl Lane in Dover, Delaware.
So please help me so other's don't have to die, thanks.
19. Place a Caution Traffic Light on Bellevue and a Niles
The corner of Bellevue Ave and Niles Ave continutes to be an area of great danger for the pedestrians and traffic in this area. This has been the area of three or four traffic accidents in the last year. This is especially hazardous because of children and traffic attending Mt. Calvary Academy and the city's park accross the street and the newly opended George Butts Park, on Bellevue Avenue.
We have requested the city of Daytona to place caution light in this area, on several occasions. It is our opinion that the placement of this caution light will tremendously add to the safety of our children and help prevent our children from injury.
20. Concerned Citizens Want a Traffic Light Installed
Citizens of the Camden School District, as well as employees and visitors of the Camden Central School District residing outside of those areas, petition to have a traffic light installed at the intersection of State Rt 13 and Florence Hill Rd in Camden, NY.
21. Concerned Students Want a Traffic Light
Concerned citizens of the school district would like to see a traffic light installed at the intersection of Florence Hill Rd. and State Route 13, in Camden, New York.
22. Traffic Safety on Dutch Broadway in Elmont
For the need of a street light or a crossing guard at the intersection of Dutch Broadway and 238th Street, Elmont. Elmont Memorial High School student was struck by a car while crossing the street in a pedestrian crosswalk.
23. Deerfield Subdivision Entrance Streetlight
The Deerfield Subdivision entrance at Hickory Ridge Road and Bonnie Valley does not currently have a street light, a lamp post or any type of illumination. This petition's purpose is to gather interest and signatures of the homeowners effected and present our concerns that this absence of light at our entrance is a safety hazard.
This hazard is intensified by the constant speeding along Hickory Ridge Road, our concealed entrance due to hills and valleys adjacent to Bonnie Valley in both directions and the presence of pedistrians, children playing and pet walking.
24. FOUR WAY STOP LIGHT AT MOUNT VERNON DRIVE AND PRESCOTT ROAD
TO PUT A FOUR WAY STOP LIGHT
AT THE INTERSECTION OF MOUNT VERNON DRIVE AND PRESCOTT ROAD.IT TAKES ANY WHERE FROM 5-20 MINS TO MAKE A LEFT OR RIGHT HAND TURN ON TO PRESCOTT ROAD. THE TRAFFIC BACKS UP ON MOUNT VERNON DRIVE MAKING THE RESIDENCES UNABLE TO GET IN OR OUT OF THERE DRIVEWAY.
YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO CROSS THE ROAD AT MOUNT VERNON AND PRESCOTT THEIR ARE APTMENTS ACROSS FROM PRESCOTT STILL MAKING IT MOUNT VERNON.
IF YOU WANTED TO CROSS THE STREET YOU NEED TO WALK DOWN TO THE CORNER OF PARKWAY PLAZA AND PRESCOTT ROAD WHERE THE LIGHT IS AND THEN YOU DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO CROSS THE ROAD.
THERE ARE CHILDREN WHO HAVE TO CROSS PRESCOTT AND IT IS NOT SAFE TO CROSS.
THE NEXT CROSS WALK IS AT PRESCOTT AND SHARON WAY YOU ARE NOT EVEN ABLE TO CROSS THERE.
THEN WE HAVE A 3 WAY STOP LIGHT AT PRESCOTT AND CHESYLER AND IT HAS A CROSS WALK SO THERE ARE CHOICES.
SO WILL YOU PLEASE HELP BY SIGNING THIS PETITION TO HELP MAKE OUR INTERCEPTION SAFE.
25. Fair Quality of Life Zoning
Santa Barbara has initiated strict set-back requirements for home owners. Requirements that restrict the use of sometimes up to 25% of one's property; for the sake of a obsure definition of 'Quality of Life'. Yet these requirements are only applied in the horizontal plane and not also in the vertical plane and over all building zones. For example, a home owner and developer can build vertically, next to single story building, which cut off all 'rights of privacy', 'light' and even 'air' from their neighbors.
or
If restrict vertical development if two or more story structure (house, condo or office building) affects their neighbors 'right of privacy', 'air' and 'light'. Right of privacy is defined as 'can the neighbor see right into the back yard of their neighbor'.
26. Support for construct of trafic diversion island on the 1300 blk of S. Washington Street
The completed T-Rex and Light-rail project including a new light rail hub on Louisiana and south Washington street will have immediate impact on auto and pedestrian traffic directly impacting the saftey and quality of life of the residents of the 1300 blk od south Washing street. A perposial has beeb put forth by Robert Dorroh from CDOT to construct a traffic diversion island in the South intersection of S. Washington Street and Louisian to discourage neighboorhood access via South Washington Street. If this diversion were constructed, the only way to access the 1300 blk of S. Washington immediatly South of Louisiana would be from Arkansan on the South or a right turn from eastbound Louisiana. Traffic exiting Washington onto Louisiana would only be able to turn right and proceed eastbound.
27. Holy Bible in every American school
1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the
waters.
1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
1:6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament:
and it was so.
1:8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
1:9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
1:10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself,
upon the earth: and it was so.
1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind:
and God saw that it was good.
1:13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.
1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for
seasons, and for days, and years:
1:15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
1:16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
1:17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
1:18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
1:19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open
firmament of heaven.
1:21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every
winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
1:22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
1:23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and
it was so.
1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind:
and God saw that it was good.
1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of
the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over
the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the
fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
1:30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have
given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
28. Guiding Light - BRING BACK QUINT & NOLA
REUNITE QUINT & NOLA
Wouldn't you like to see Quint & Nola back on GL. Guiding Light could use a lift, so how about reuniting Quint & Nola and having them walk down memory lane. So lets bring back Quint (MICHAEL TYLO) and Nola (LISA BROWN).
The time has come to reunite one of the best soap couples ever, now that Guiding Light has a new Executive Producer maybe he will realize the value and following of Quint & Nola. Help us put the best soap couple back where they belong, join in our petition.
Nola Reardon grew up in a boardinghouse on 7th street and spent her difficult childhood dreaming of a better life. Her wishes came true the day she found herself on the doorstep of Quinton McCord, an archaeologist who had recently moved to town to escape a past relationship. Nola accepted a job as Quinton's personal assistant and as a team they embarked on many exciting adventures.
Nola and Quint's young relationship, however, was immediately met with opposition. Two of Quint's former lovers, Helena and Rebecca (Mona), were desperate to win him back. In addition, Nola was kidnaped (more than once) by Quint's nemesis, Silas Crocker. While scuba diving during a mission in St. Croix, Quint saved Nola from drowning and they shared their first kiss.
This time, Nola saved Quint's life and the relationship endured. Shortly after, Quinton discovered that he was Henry Chamberlin's long-lost son. When Nola and Quint finally got engaged, Henry threw an elaborate antebellum theme celebration in the couple's honor. The date was set for June 24, 1983 but the marriage proved to be a mission in and of itself. Nola's mother, Bea, couldn't finish the wedding dress and was forced to enlist the help of former hooker Lola Fontaine and her friends Trixie and Maybel. To make matters worse, her family accidentally left her behind and Nola had to hitch a ride to the church on a fire truck. Finally, the couple made it to the altar to exchange their vows. After a successful completion of the ceremony, Quinton surprised Nola with a hot-air balloon ride before taking her to Ireland for their honeymoon.
Nola and Quint continued to live an adventurous life as a newlywed couple. In addition to their "real" adventures, Nola's overactive imagination caused her to slip away into a fantasy world where she and Quinton played out the roles of old movie stars and musical actors. Her fantasies were always sparked by real life situations and allowed her to cope with difficult issues in her life. When Nola and Quinton had their first baby, for example, Nola embodied the role of Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz to ask the Wizard for his advice. In the end, they had the name narrowed down to Thomas Henry, Quinton Jr., or Anthony James. Viewers were invited to vote on the name and Anthony James, A.J. for short, won by a landslide.
As the years passed, Quinton unfortunately became involved with another woman and Nola returned to Springfield. Quinton, however, realized his mistake and ran after his true love, Nola.
29. Raise the punishment for Cruelty to animals in Ontario!!
In the peel region of Mississagua, Ontario animal Abuse is considered a criminal act. Although the punishment is rather light why should someone who kills or seriously abuses an animal be charged with something as light as a $2000 fine or 2 years in prison. This is not enough. We the people who care about animals think this should be much more and would like to see this punishment upgraded so horrible acts of cruelty are not let off so light.
In a recent act of abuse 3 young men in their 20's and one girl in her teens were see carrying a defenseless female iguana towards traintracks and there they dumped her and ran. When the witness ran over to the injured iguna
they noticed thermal burns on the neck! In the peel region of Mississauga, Ontario where this horrible act happened it is a crimanl act. Sadly the offenders haven't been caught.
If you like many would like to see the punisment raised for people who have abused animals please sign! Also If you don't live in the peel region contact your local Humane society and tell them that you think punishment for horrible acts are too low! NO MORE CRULTY TO ANIMALS!!!!!!!!
30. All Enron recipients, must recuse themselves from investigation to avoid the look of impropriety...
Anyone who accepted money from Enron needs to recuse themselves. I think it is pretty petty of the Democrats to keep trying to pounce on our President. I know they want to get elected, but this is stupid. We are talking pot and kettle here, and my Mom always said the bit dog hollers first.
I think instead of playing Politics, they should work together for the good of the Nation. It is time we play fair.
In light of the recent events involving Enron, the massive amounts of money received by those who would investigate, point fingers and name names. In our opinion, we believe that anyone who received money from this company should recuse themselves from the investigation, and stop the appearance of impropriety.
