1. First Close the Southern Border with Mexico

Our Congress people constantly promise to close the borders after amnesty is granted but then they don't follow through. We have had enough lies.

Now we want the borders closed BEFORE any LIMITED discussion of amnesty for illegal aliens is discussed.

2. Stop Immigration's Unarmed Invasion and its Deadly Consequences

Although there are ample laws on the books to curb illegal immigration and limit legal immigration to historical levels, the Administration has failed in its duty to American citizens by refusing to enforce the law effectively. The Administration and many members of Congress give lip service to border security but deny police, ICE, and the border patrol the tools needed to achieve that goal.

In 1968, amnesty was granted to about 1.3 million illegal aliens. Now that number has grown to 12-20 million. That represents a compound rate of growth of around 10% per year. If that rate of growth continues, by mid-century there will be more than 500 million, assuming none are granted a pathway to citizenship. Do the math: 12 million x 1.10^40 years = 543 million illegal aliens. Although population projections show a lower number for all ciitzens -- about 485 million by mid-century, the growth in illegal aliens must have been discounted. The calculation above is correct. Nevertheless, it is clear why Congress wants another amnesty. They want to sweep the problem under the carpet and start counting all over again from zero for the next amnesty.

Population-driven economic growth is ultimately unsustainable and will begin to impact the quality of life and our standard of living.

3. We Stand With Arizona, and Against Illegal Immigration

Arizona is besieged by illegal immigration--more people and drugs cross illegally into the United States through Arizona than any other state. And Arizonans suffer the massive levels of crime that go with it. Drug and human smuggling, extortion, kidnapping and murders. And the Federal government has done NOTHING to stop it.

Arizonans have had enough. They decided to stop waiting for the Feds to do what the Constitution mandates--to protect its citizens from external threats. So they passed legislation to help stop the robberies, shootings, rapes, kidnapping, murders, and madness.

This isn't about racism, or xenophobia, or "apartheid" or any of the other hysterical slanders the left has come up. This is about the safety and well-being of the citizens of the state. And its support was overwhelming: 70% of Arizonans supported it. And support is Bi-Partisan, with 84% of Republicans and 51% of Democrats in favor.

But some have now come out and called for a boycott of Arizona. Incredibly, even one of its own U.S. Representatives--Rep. Raul Grijalva has joined this call for a boycott--of his own state!

4. Massachusetts - Oppose the "New Americans Agenda"

Speak Up and Matter is a new grassroots group of concerned citizens. We are not a radical activist coalition associated with or supported by any organization. Our only goal is to peaceably advocate for the hard-working, legal, taxpaying citizens of Massachusetts who are, like us, intensely dissatisfied with our state government.

Our first order of business is to present the Governor and Legislators of Massachusetts with a petition opposing the "New Americans Agenda". It is our hope that like-minded, legal, taxpaying residents of the Commonwealth will read, support, and sign the attached petition to be presented to Massachusetts Governor Patrick, State Representatives and Senators. YOU MUST BE A LEGAL, MASSACHUSETTS RESIDENT, for the purpose of this petition, to sign it effectively. Thank you.

Speak Up and Matter
http://speakupandmatter.blogspot.com/2009/12/say-no-to-illegal-aliens-benefitting.html

This movement was prompted by Massachusetts Governor Patrick's public release of the "New Americans Agenda" Final Report on November 17, 2009. The 45 page report contains 131 recommendations, all of which would benefit both the legal immigrants and hundreds of thousands of illegal alien residents of this state, summarized from "citizen input" obtained at contrived public meetings. The town meeting-like assemblies were organized by 10 community-based organizations, each of which is affiliated with or supported by SEIU/ACORN, working in concert with the Governor appointed Advisory Council for Refugees and Immigrants (GACRI). The so-called public meetings, attended by 1200 Massachusetts residents (representative of only .0185% of the state's population) solicited by the organizing groups, were not well publicized to the citizenry at large, if at all.

Among the objectionable 131 recommendations to benefit illegal aliens at the Massachusetts taxpayers' expense:

1. Access to taxpayer subsidized in-state college tuition for all immigrant residents.
2. Access to drivers licenses.
3. Expanded ESOL programs in schools and the workplace.
4. Increased funding for translation and interpreter service in schools.
5. Bilingual education.
6. Translator services available at all health centers.
7. Financial assistance with Naturalization costs.
8. Subsidized Public Housing.
9. Assistance with housing applications.
10. Adult dental services coverage by Mass-Health.
11. Increased access to multilingual support staff in State Agencies.
12. Discourage questioning by local and state police on the immigration status of those involved in crimes - including suspects.

Governor Deval Patrick is actively and publicly promoting his "New Americans Agenda" absent the opinions of the vast majority of Massachusetts citizens who do not support funding, with their taxes, further entitlements for illegal aliens. He is clearly not only encouraging but supporting criminal intruders at great expense to the legal residents of our state. We object to being overlooked by our government in the process of polling public opinion on the subject of immigration, and oppose the "New Americans Agenda", specifically regarding the benefits and rights of citizenship it proposes be given to illegal aliens. With national unemployment hovering at 10% and families struggling to stay afloat in this economy, we demand our elected officials put legitimate Americans first.

We must be our own advocates, and protest with a determined and unified voice. Please join us in signing this petition. You and your families will ultimately be the beneficiaries of your support.

6. Illegal Alien Identification by Local Law Enforcement

This petition would permit local law enforcement to stop, detain and identify “Illegal Aliens” who they come into legal contact with. Most Illegal Aliens do not carry proper identification, and any identification they do carry is in most cases counterfeit.

Local law Enforcement would utilize the Automated Fingerprint Identification System (or AFIS) to identify these individuals to see if they are suspected of other crimes, wanted criminals, and if nothing else their finger prints would be entered into the system in the event of future criminal activity or contact with law enforcement.

Another option in addition to the above would be the mandatory DNA testing of all Illegal Aliens that have legal Law Enforcement contact. This would be done to ensure we are not permitting a criminal wanted in a DNA related crime to continue living amongst society. Again, many rapes, burglaries, and other violent felons are being committed by these individuals and this would be one sure way to catch an otherwise unknown subject who is permitted to remain in this Country illegally.
