1. Ban "Love & Hip Hop" from T.V.

The show has banned any metal or glass on the set..... the girls are constantly getting cut or stitches. What does this say to our youth of tomorrow.

There is enough violence in everyday without watching it on T.V. T.V. needs to set good examples. We pay cable and t.v rates to get this nonsense...

5. I want to hear Ms C Brown on BBC Radio 1Xtra

Ms C Brown is a premier DJ in and around Birmingham, West Midlands. Due to the lack of Black Midland voices on Radio 1Xtra, we would like the BBc to consider hosting her radio show.

She has the backing of most if not all Midland based new Black music artists ranging from Hip Hop, RnB, UKG and Reggae, as she plays there music and represents for them wherever she plays a gig.

Many people know Midland based music through listening to Ms C Brown so we think the rest of the country would like to hear her unique style and presentation of New British Black Music!

"We need a remedy!!" *Note: This is NOT a revolt, coup, nor attempt to overthrow/undermine the government.*... What it IS, it's U.S Citizens Standing UP, taking action.

8. SQUASH THE BEEF

May 11, 2006

Throughout the history of Hip Hop, there has been much violence, and it's been used as a marketing tool to sell records. We need to Squash the Beef between MC's, MC's and Law Enforcement, and the many altercations in our streets.

Many of the Hip Hop artists involved in these beefs do so at the urging of record labels. They rely on the philosophy that the bigger the beef, the better the sales. Sadly, it's our children that are buying these records and are being lead to believe that this is how you handle a dispute.

Beefs have been a part of Hip Hop since the beginning as a way to prove one's skill and worth on the mic. However, the beefs today have evolved into violence, mayhem, and murder.

It's got to stop now before more lives are lost.

10. Get a refund cause HMC lied to us

November 01, 2005

Two weeks before October 31, 2005, Hazel McCallion School informed their students of an activity day on Halloween Day. These activities included a dance, a film room, a games room, and study hall (for everyone else).

On the forms that were sent home, the school stated that they had hired a DJ from Z103.5 to come to the dance, therefore it cost $5.00. Everyone thought that Z103.5 was a good choice for the school to hire, as they play a mix of different genres of music, and went ahead and paid $5.00 to attend.

Anyways, the day of the dance came, and when all the students entered the gym, there was the DJ up at the front playing some kind of hip-hop music with a bass louder than 100 000 pipe bands. Then, finally the DJ announced that he was from Flow 93.5, not from Z103.5, he was from the hip-hop and R & B station. Not very many people would have gone if they knew that only 2 decent rock songs would be played, and 3 slow songs while the rest of the dance was filled with hip-hop music that gave us headaches.

My proposal is that the students that wouldn't have gone to this dance get a refund of $2.50 for putting up with "noise" for so long.

11. Name WMNF's Mixer Studio for Kenny K

As part of the Hip-Hop community and long time listener-supporter, past, present and future, I believe WMNF 88.5 should recognize its Hip-Hop pioneer and legend of Tampa Bay and its surrounding areas: KENNY K. In his honor I feel that WMNF should name the
Mixer's Studio in the new building is his memory. He was an activist
and a volunteer; he gave of himself to WMNF by serving this community in many ways.

KENNY K was responsible for helping to bring Hip-Hop to the Bay area and gave this radio station the Hip-Hop following it has today. This is not a fundraiser or discussion,
this is a petition for your signature.

12. Keep the THE DOWNLO

Much Music has announced that they will no longer be showing THE DOWNLO. This is because there's "no audience" for underground hip hop. Canada needs a program to show great underground canadian and international hip hop. I call on all canadian hip hop heads to sign this petition!

13. The Front Line Revolution - preserve and restore the culture of hip hop

This petition was designed to preserve and restore the culture of hip hop, which has been bastardized and virtually destroyed as we know it by money-hungry record companies and various music professionals. These individuals have marketed and promoted music to the masses of people who have been brainwashed to buy this low-quality music. A revolution has been created to bring hip hop back to the essence of its culture.
