Stop Georgia Department of Family and Children Services from being able to destroy families and traumatize children.

Policy now enables this agency to come to a family’s home and remove the children when there is no present danger.

It also allows the agency to speak to children without a neutral party present as a witness. Children are removed from school and hospitals without the chance to even say goodbye to their parents.

The agency does not believe children are entitled to an explanation as to why they are being removed nor do they believe children should have a voice in the matter. These actions are very traumatizing the children involved. Georgia Department of Family and Children Services is doing the exact same thing to children they are accusing parents and guardians are doing to them. This agency needs to have some of their power taken away and needs to be held accountable for their actions.

The Governor’s office needs to send a special investigative unit into each and every county office in the state and then it needs to change the policy in the way the agency is operated.
