2. Release updated SDK for the Intel CE4100 Chipset

Intel's Atom CE4100 chip currently powers D-Link's Boxee Box.

There are outstanding issues with this device can can only be resolved by Boxee once Intel release the updated SDK for the Intel Atom CE4100.

This has been stated numerous times by Boxee and has most recently been mentioned by Boxee CEO Avner Ronen when asked what was holding up availability of the Netlix UK app as part of a question and answer session with Boxee users that took place on 4th April 2012 which can be viewed at: http://www.spreecast.com/events/boxeechat

At 18:14 Avner's response is:

"So Netflix in the UK, newer version of flash, 3TB drive support, those are three issues that we hear a lot, those are three issues that are, can only be addressed when we move to a new SDK from Intel and that is a much longer process than we would want to and takes much more time than we would want to and resources and we still don't have a set date for it but that's what's holding it up."

It's also believed that a Netflix app for other non-US regions can only be released once Intel release the updated SDK.

At 29:22 it's also stated that the HD Audio drop out bug can also only be resolved once a new SDK from Intel is released.

"Without the new intel SDK it won't be resolved, so its going to take us time if and when that SDK will be something that we will be able to launch I think thats the only hope to solve it."

Intel discontinued support for the Atom CE4100 in October 2011. However it was also reported that "The CE4100 will continue to be sold and supported by Intel, and it will also remain - albeit more anonymously - in set top boxes."

The 200,000+ users of the Boxee Box powered by this Intel chipset some of whom are part of the 2,815 active Boxee Box Forum users (as of 19th May 2012) have been waiting patiently for news from either Intel or Boxee that the new SDK has been released so Boxee can implement fixes for the issues mentioned above and this has yet to happen.

The Boxee Box is featured on Intel's website at:

I believe Boxee users agree by not releasing the updated SDK, Intel isn't offering support for this chipset.

3. Let PC and PS3 gamers play on the same server in DC UNIVERSE ONLINE

As the new DC Universe Online game nears it's release date, SOE has confirmed their decision to separate servers that would allow both PC and PS3 gamers to interact with one another.

This decision would have a huge impact on the gaming community in that players utilizing their PCs would be segregated from those playing with a PS3 impeding them from meeting other gamers within the game or joining them in missions.

6. Flash 9 on the Wii!

After buying the Nintendo Wii, if you wish to get the Internet Channel, you must buy 500 "Wii Points."

After paying this amount, you would expect a decent product from it, but this is not the case. The Nintendo Wii's Internet Channel has only Flash version 7, which only allows access to a small handful of online games.

The main use of Nintendo Wii's Internet Channel is for online gaming, so Flash 7 is not sufficient. Flash 9, being the latest Flash version, would be alot better and would drive more people to buy the Internet Channel.

If Flash 9 can not be made for the Wii, Flash 8 would be sufficient.

7. Tell eBaulm's World to Stop Stealing!

July 10, 2006

For years, Ebaulm's World has stolen everything from images to Flash Movies. He has done so quite blatantly. Most content on the website is taken from other sources without permission and rebranded with the eBaum's World logo.

Sadly enough, the site, which is owned by Rochester, New York, native Eric "eBaum" Bauman ranks in the top 500 sites on the Internet according to Alexa. It is co-owned by Eric's secretary and father Neil Bauman.

As for controversy, eBaum's World has garnered significant controversy in many Internet communities over the years due to numerous accusations of content being taken from other sites without attribution, especially from websites such as YTMND, Something Awful, Albino Blacksheep and Newgrounds.

Companies such as Viacom, 20th Century Fox, and Sega have all claimed that Eric and Neil Bauman have infringed on their copyrights. Eric Bauman denies critics' claims that the site's content is stolen, citing research done by site editors and the consent form that must accompany uploads of material.

He claims to honor all requests to remove unauthorized material, but this is contested by some content creators. In particular, web artist and animator Jonti Picking, ("Weebl", creator of the Badger Badger Badger animations) was only able to have his animations removed at the beginning of 2006. Bauman has claimed that he formerly worked with Picking, though Picking has stated that this is false.

The main fact is that me must stop him. Signing this petition could mean him finally giving it up.

8. Stop showing station logos and program ads during tv shows

December, 2005

All television stations are now putting up their logo in the bottom right corner of the screen. It is also becoming more and more frequent that advertisements for other programs are shown while you are watching television.

These interfere with viewing. It is extremely distracting and diminishes the value of the current program being watched. It is especially annoying when the station logo covers information like the name and/or title of a person being interviewed for a particular show.

Show advertisements during commercials!!! Flash the station logo, but only show it for a short time; we know what station we're watching!!
