The decision to install dumpsters and pods in our community is an affront to every resident of HVM. Presently, there is limited parking for the residents. These containers are going to restrict our parking even further.
Because of the restricted parking we do not have room to enclose or disguise these areas. The result will be noxious fumes, a health risk for our children, an attractive nuisance for vandals and an attraction for animals and vermin. Lawsuits resulting from these conditions will affect our already high insurance rate.
They will be a blight on our neighborhood and current property values will be diminished. The garbage truck only makes eight stops in our community. Our current system works perfectly now. Our community pays approximately 3/4 for a million dollars in property taxes to the township.
We the underrsigned petition the Township of Woodbridge to continue with our present garbage pickup.
To do otherwise would cause us irrepairable harm in terms of property values and a healthy and safe atmosphere for our residents.
