On December 8th 1980 John Lennon was mercilessly murdered outside of his New York City home.
This event was devastating. The world lost a poet, musician, artist and social spokesman.
It is my dream to make West 72nd Street where John lived and died re-named to West 72nd Street John Lennon Blvd.
Dear Fellow friends and fans of JOHN LENNON As you know John was mercilessly murdered outside his home at the Dakota Apartments on West 72nd Street.
It has been put on my heart for sometime to petition the Honorable Mayor Bloomberg and the great City of New York to honor its most loveable and famous adopted son John Lennon. We all lost an incredible musician, poet, artist and social spokesman.
PLEASE MAYOR BLOOMBERG make this dream a reality for all of us who love and miss our beloved John Lennon.
Let's take a sad song and make it better. EVERYONE OF US IS ALL WE NEED!!!
