Petition Background (Preamble):
Bucks County Council are proposing a Waste Transfer site on London Road Chalfont St Giles, this will create a major road congestion problem, safety fears for children in the surrounding area and Environmental damage to an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The cost justification for this site is flawed and the information presented to the local community is misleading in the number of Heavy vehicles and impact this will have on the local community.

Petition:
We the undersigned ask the Bucks Country Council to reconsider the proposed Waste Transfer site on London Road Chalfont St Giles.
We believe that the impact on that community will be too great for any benefit this may bring, and the benefits need to be reassessed in the light of the changes made to subsidies since the initial proposal.
