The usage of any activity, other than a party, in the Fairways multipurpose room has been banned by the Interim Board. The rationale behind this decision is to keep outsiders away from using the community facilities.
Due to the size of the gym (too small) at Fairways, residents are unable to participate in certain activities such as yoga or meditation. As a result, they have been left with no other choice but to become members of fitness centers around the city.
Emaar Community Management has no objections with residents making the most of the facility, but as long as the rules are followed. However, the Interim Board thinks otherwise.
This multipurpose room is left unused 80% of the time. Let's put into good use for the residents.
We, the undersigned, call on the Interim Board of Fairways Community to reconsider the decision to ban residents from using the multipurpose room for other activities (i.e. yoga) than just a party.
Facilities we have paid for as owners or tenants should be used to their fullest capacity as long as community rules are respected.
