Upgrade technology for Wheatley's computer and information system students
- Target:
- Moon Township
- Region:
- United States of America
The Wheatley Center was created to provide the following degree with a dedicated space in communications, media arts, computer and information systems, English, and organizational leadership.
The media arts degree controls majority of the building, key swipe access is required for most rooms and other degrees are unable to access them.
Currently Computer and Information Systems classes are located primarily in the Hale Center. Although Wheatley does provide us with two classrooms with about 18 computers, the average class size is essentially 24 students. Because of that we can not be placed in those rooms. The equipment is not up to date and lacks the programs the students need.
It is vital that we, the computer information system students, have access to technology that is up to date and relevant with what is happening in the world of technology.
We, the computer and information system students, want
access to technology that is up to date and relevant in rooms dedicated to our majors.
