The University of Greenwich was listed 109th out of 119 on the universities' Green League table.
The aim of the petition is to get university management to commit more fully to improving the university's 'green' status by appointing a full-time environmental officer to implement and coordinate the university's drive to become more sustainable.

We, the undersigned, call on University of Greenwich Management to commit themselves to minimising the environmental impact of the university's operations, students and staff by appointing a full-time environmental officer who can implement and coordinate the drive to become more sustainable.
