Thank you to all those professionals and lay people who signed the petition. The final number was only 165 but in the end it contributed to the overall victory for the two-tier campaign. Now to get on with building a world class education system for Bedford!

Those named below live or work in Bedford Borough and fully support the proposal to move to a two-tier educational structure in the town:
• to fully align with the National Curriculum and its development
• to build capacity for change in the system
• ultimately to improve young people’s educational outcomes and life chances.
We ask that you do all in your power to effect a change and secure ‘Building Schools for the Future’ funding to transform our schools and our children’s futures.
