The traffic signal pattern at Route 352 and King Road in Malvern must be changed. A "near miss" incident can be witnessed at this intersection on a daily basis.
The East West traffic pattern on King road is such that westbound and eastbound travelers have separate lights so traffic continues to move and travelers turning are in no danger of getting hit by oncoming cars.
The North and South bound traffic pattern on route 352 should be changed so each has its own signal as well. This would allow traffic to keep moving and make it safer for all travelers trying to turn onto King Road. This intersection is especially dangerous at rush hour.
Traffic backs up on 352 due to vehicles trying to turn onto King but cannot due to cars driving around them.
We, the undersigned, feel that the traffic pattern on Rte 352 at King Road is in immediate need of change.
We are requesting that you adjust the signal pattern to allow the Northbound and Southbound travelers to proceed on separate signals; similar to that of the east and west bound travelers on King Road.
This would allow for a much safer and quicker travel through this intersection.
