After watching the 5 part mini series of Torchwood: Children of Earth, I was rather disappointed. I enjoyed it none-the-less, but it just wasn't the same.
After Tosh & Owen were killed in the final episode of series 2, I was convinced it would be aweful. Owen was my favourite character, and the team can't really function properly without Tosh. I then found out it would be 5 episodes played over 5 nights, and I immediatly thought this was rediculas. I really wanted to be proven wrong, but I was let down.
Then, in Children of Earth, they killed off Ianto too!
KILLING OFF CHARACTERS DOES NOT MAKE A GOOD STORYLINE!
Now only two members off Torchwood are left. How's that going to work in the nesxt series?
Come on, it's Torchwood, they're bound to be able to bring the dead back to life! So this petition is to show just how many people agree with me, and want the ORIGINAL Torchwood team & amazing 13 episode series' back. Torchwood is like my absolute favourite shows, and I would hate for it to be axed like all the other shows that are being stopped at the moment. We just want it back to normal.
We the undersigned, request that Torchwood is put back to normal. With the next series consisting of 13 incredible episodes like series 1 & 2, and the old team back together; Jack, Owen, Toshiko, Ianto & Gwen.
