Keep Mr. May

Mr. May came into our World History class at the end of Fort Hill's second marking period. He was hired as a long term sub due to Mr. Erich's retirement. Naturally, we thought he would be like any other sub: someone with little teaching experience, minimal classroom management, and lack of motivation to ensure that we master the standards.

Mr. May is the complete opposite.

His passion for history is contagious, and he teaches with an enthusiasm that makes us want to learn. He comes to class every day prepared to give his all and in return expects the same from us. We have learned more from Mr. May in the past half year than we have from years of history classes combined.

We do not want next year's tenth grade class to miss out on the learning experience Mr. May provides.
