Save Thomas The Tank Engine Model Tradition

Since May, 2008 HIT Entertainment have said that after the new Thomas The Tank Engine DVD 'The Great Discovery' narrated by Pierce Brosnan will be the last ever series that also include series 12 to show the model locomotives, railways etc. for a CGI series in Canada.

Thomas The Tank Engine was a great show showing children all about railways and how a steam engine works. Created by the Rev.W.Awdry in 1945 the books were a hit TV series in 1984.

Until when Britt Allcroft made the worst Thomas Movie 'The Magic Railroad' which she changed around 1999 and 2000. HIT Entertainment have bought the rights to Thomas the Tank Engine in 2002 when it was Gullane Entertainment.

And in 2003 they made series 7 for the last time we lose the 35mm film, the Orginal Thomas Theme Song and music.

In 2004 HIT have made Series 8 with new learning segments for the newer and younger children making the Island Of Sodor a make believe land as part of a child's imangination.

2005 saw the release of the second Thomas Movie 'Calling All Engines' narrated by Micheal Angelis for the UK and Australian and Micheal Brandon for the US and Canada. With the return of Diesel 10 and Lady both from Thomas & The Magic Railroad' in which in the final part of the DVD they gave Diesel 10 a happy personality for steam engines and didn't give him a big speaking role including Lady.

And now in 2008 we see Pierce Brosnan narrating the Thomas series replacing Micheal Angelis and Micheal Brandon.
And now Thomas will move to Canada for a CGI series.
