The parents of students at Third Ward Elementary are concerned with the decision to remove one of our fifth grade classes.
We believe this decision is a short term fix.
This one year solution will cause a large combined classroom of fourth and fifth graders. These years are crucial in math and reading/writing development.
Our children will suffer from this decision.
We, the undersigned, call on Randolph County Board of Education, to reconsider the elimination of the fifth grade in Third Ward Elementary School.
