The "Born This Way Ball" is a concert tour in which it promotes the songs of Lady Gaga.
Most of them, if not all, show very explicit content that would corrupted young minds and will continue to corrupt more.
It also entice blasphemy and profanity on religious symbols and articles.
We, the concerned citizens of the Philippines and adherents of our respective belief systems, boycott and condemn the upcoming concert of Lady Gaga in the Philippines.
This is in solidarity with our Asian brethren who banned and boycotted her tour in their respective countries.
We firmly resolve ourselves that to be a shining example to other nations, being the only predominant Christian--Catholic--nation in all of Asia, the Philippines should be at the forefront of this battle against hedonism, sodomy, and ultrasecularism. However, we are disappointed that most Filipinos--and sadly, a good number of them Christians--follow this weird recording artist in all her silly antics and in all her songs and music videos.
We call upon the Philippine Government, who left this matter unchecked in the first place, to pitch their attention to this ungodly event that would mock the personal belief systems of every Filipino and may cause further harm to our much-threatened culture and values system.
This fight is not restricted only to the Catholic Church, of which most of us are adherents; this fight is for every concerned Filipino citizen regardless of creed or perspective. We acknowledge the initiatives of every person who loves Christ, or in general, every person who recognizes a sound moral standard. We acknowledge their efforts to weaken, if not totally call off, this inevitable event. In the spirit of Christian brotherhood, we are one with them in this fight.
To our fellow Filipinos: Now is the time to wake up from the deep slumber of lukewarmness and face the reality that the culture we have, which we inherited from our forefathers, is in a grave danger of being overrun by those who pursue their own good above the common good. But most of all, we should realize that aside from our culture, our values, our religion, OUR VERY WAY OF LIVING is at stake.
We stand united against this concert.
