Marylanders have the right to protect themselves and their loved ones at a moments notice. Our government has placed greater importance on money and jewelry over our lives.
We should have the right to choose if we want to carry a side arm for our protection or not. That is our right as an American Citizen and it should not be dictated by our government who may or may not be able to protect themselves, loved ones or property at a moments notice.
The fact is that criminals will continue to carry their guns regardless of the laws and when the police are minutes away you only have mere seconds.
So please take the time to sign this petition and send it forward to our Governor.
We the undersigned law abiding Maryland citizens call on your assistance in the matter of our 2nd Amendment rights and for you to take a closer look at our gun laws so that we to can protect ourselves and loved ones in our time of need. This state has placed value of Money and Jewelry over life for far to long and we want change.
We want our 2nd Amendment right to be able to open carry a side arm for our protection and we are asking for your help.
