As confirmed by international media outlets including the German Radio, Voice of America, ESAT and other Ethiopian sources thousands of Amaras are being expelled and displaced from their homes and farm lands.
This process of ethnic cleansing has been going on for many years, though it has been increasing enormously in the last few months, from places like Guraferda, Benji Maji Zone, in Southern Ethiopia and now in Benishangul Gumuz. This clearly shows that the action is a deliberate political exercise and policy implementation as planned by the regime since 1991. It is important to note that, the Amaras are considered and targeted by TPLF regime as the primary enemy that must be weekend and eliminated.

This petition is to support and protect the Amara displaced people and to help us stop the ethnic cleansing and genocide committed against the Amaras by woyane TPLF regime in Ethiopia.
We sincerely ask your office to:
• Pressure the Ethiopian regime to immediately stop the expulsion of citizens, return their confiscated property including their land.
• provide immediate and sufficient relief aid, and
• initiate a full and independent investigation into this expulsion and bring the perpetrators to justice.
