The Battle for the Restoration of the Gulf of Mexico

First let me say that I am a native Texan (Born in Fort Worth) from a long line of Texans (Family’s been here since the late 1700’s). I grew up going to Galveston beach every vacation that the weather was good. I even spent a year in Harlingen Texas where I went to South Padre Island every opportunity I got. The happiest memories of my life have been spent on the gulf coast.

I would like to stick strictly to the issue but everything in this life is overtly political so I would like to say that I’m not out to offend anyone but as we say in Texas “You don’t have to step in Bullshit to know that a bull shits”.

I also have to say that I have been utterly (pun intended) disgusted with the flat out bull that’s been constantly put out by the media regarding the environment namely in the golf coast and forgive me for being direct but I’m from Texas and I don’t play games! I won’t even make this about global warming I will say this is about flat out about the safety of the greatest place on the planet and that’s the gulf coast.
Here and now:

I would like to call into question the honor of British petroleum!

And in the tradition of the south I would like to challenge a member of the board of directors of BP to a duel, namely a boxing match. (To take place in By April 2013)

If BP truly believes in the restoration of the golf, they will recognize this huge opportunity to restore the gulf and show to the people of the gulf lands that they will truly do whatever it takes to restore the gulf.

This is a petition to get one member of the BP board of directors to box with me (Senator Zavala) in a fundraiser to save the gulf.
