The novels of Terry Pratchett regularly top the adult and children's fiction sales charts in the UK.
They have been translated into many languages from Welsh to Russian and are enjoyed world-wide. The sales are testimony to the many years of enjoyment that he has given to his fans through the dozens of entertaining, humorous and well written books that he has published.
Yet through all this he has not been recognised by the UK for the treasure he is and has not been rewarded with a significant honour. We demand that he is granted a Knighthood.
We the undersigned call on the UK Government to honour the author Terry Pratchett with a knighthood in honour and thanks for his many works of fiction which have entertained millions.
