Through a shared and common experience, although we respect the need for content control on the Internet, yet unified in one common belief is that our right to consume information is be exploited and capitalised by unscrupulous corporations, branding their (asterisk'ed) *unlimited data promotions.
The Internet to date is without doubt, a key broadcast medium, and alike radio, thus data-capping is clearly an intent to exploit. Stand-up, and voice our rights. MCMC Malaysia, what is your stand on this?
Support this petition, the moment we hit 1 Million, we will shadow or deactivate our current accounts (capped) on a boycott movement and sign-up for a new account supporting any ISP's in Malaysia promising 'TRUE Cap-less' schemes.
In such intent to create the consumer-driven-commercial-exploit, by Us (power of the users), we hope also to achieve a sound policy by MCMC Malaysia, imposing a strong and fair means of regulating the term '*unlimited broadband', the 'expression' and 'deliverance' of the claims, as to date, these terms are mere means of entrapment, incases, these cruel means of commercial exploits can results in post-traumtic-stress, with near-dead speed throttling, at times without clear consent, forcing users into spending more, irrupt anti-social captilistic commercial practice, which We all wonder why the 'FAIR' Gov. of Malaysia is seemingly in agreement.
'We have the right to choose our transports and navigate our lives, if so the road-traffic is congested due to our needs, be it so, the freedom to commute is now, a basic right, so is today the freedom to digest knowledge and information on the electronic-superhighway, why toll for what is already today, a basic right. The use of the Internet."
