ARTICLE VIII-REFERENDUM
Upon a petition signed by at least 10 percent of the qualified voters of each community, demanding a referendum on any proposed or enacted ordinance or resolution of the Tribal Business Council, the council shall call an election and the vote of a majority of the qualified voters voting in such referendum shall be binding upon the Tribal Business Council, provided that at least 30 percent of the eligible voters shall vote in such referendum.
*******(Reminder, if you did not vote on an amended part of the tribal constitution then it is not valid, meaning that this "Referendum" article is still legit.)
EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS AS A TRIBAL ENROLLED MEMBER AND VOTE BY SIGNING THIS PETITION. IT WILL BE TURNED IN TO THE TRIBAL BUSINESS COUNCIL TO SHOW THE SERIOUSNESS OF OUR PEOPLE'S CONCERN IN THIS MATTER.

The Enrolled Members of the Three Affiliated Tribes hereby exercise their civil constitutional rights to utilize the federally recognized legal element of their tribal government in which they abide by, namely the: “UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR OFFICE OF INDIAN AFFAIRS CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS OF THE THREE AFFILIATED TRIBES OF THE FORT BERTHOLD RESERVATION NORTH DAKOTA APPROVED JUNE 29, 1936 under ARTICLE VIII-REFERENDUM”.
We are considerably expressing our decision of rejection on our Tribal Councils’ sole decision (without the enrolled members knowledge or vote) of approving {Resolution No. 12-05-VJB}aka “Texas Company’s Plan”. In foreseeing more extreme dangers to the well-being of our enrolled members & presently experiencing the harmful content of non-existing legal federal “Fort Berthold Indian Reservation” laws to protect us from the non-enrolled due to jurisdictional matters, along with failing to produce a legit legal abiding element before approving the above described Resolution, we the people vote by signing this petition to reject the decision of approval until one be provided and agreed on with the people.
