My concern is about the cut off pension of my grandmother for 6 months. They have appeared several times in PHILVAO office for the yearly confirmation of existence, the pension has been stop since April and until this time the pension hasn't resume back.
My Question is why do they make it a hard time for the veterans and the veterans beneficiaries following up the small amount of pension that should supposed to be for them. Going back and forth in veterans office to ask when their pensions resumes back is surely a difficult task for our war veterans and their beneficiaries most of them are very old and most of them are not rich to afford spending taxi going in PHILVAO.
Yes they ask the veterans to call for follow up and I have tried calling several times in the office either they block the call or it's busy and once you have reach them they would just ask the veterans beneficiary to come in the office for another appearance which in fact they have appeared 4 times since April.
My concern is PLS: Don't make it hard time for the pensioners if they have submitted the documents needed and they have appeared lots of times.
GIVE THEM EXACT DATE ON WHEN THE PENSION RESUMES BACK. SURELY WAITING FOR 6 MONTHS IS HARD FOR OUR OLD VETERANS SPECIALLY IF THAT'S THE ONLY INCOME THEY EXPECT.
