Support of Tandem Bikes in Open Events

We actually had 4 tandems registered to race in the Lifecycle Classic but unfortunately we were not able to be included in the handicap race due to this regulation.

We would ask you to have your say so we can lobby together with Cycling Queensland to make this change and get more tandems into racing.

Many of you have ridden with Tony Williams and Dean Cameron and the other tandems so you should be the best audience to be asking your opinion so if you can all please take the time to sign our petition it would be greatly appreciated.

Cycling Australia have recently relaxed this regulation so leaves this up to the individual state body to agree.

We want to thank great clubs like Life Cycle, Moreton Bay Cycling Club, Sunshine Coast, Fraser Coast and Hamilton for allowing us to participate in some of your events and to thank everyone who signed our petition at the Lifecycle Event.

Over the past 3 years we are pleased to state we have not been involved in or caused any accidents whilst at the track,crit racing, handicap racing and ITT.

We have competed at national level in 2017 and secured bronze in ITT and Road race so we are aiming to get to National in January.

As you may have already noticed we are not spring chickens anymore so we need your support to engage our next generation of paracyclists and tandem riders  to make it to the next level.

So lets break down the hurdles and offer all riders every opportunity to be treated equally and be inclusive!
