MISSA (Malaysian Islamic Society of South Australia) is a registered body under Malaysian Student Department of Australia (MSDA). It was an active Malaysia Muslims body a few years back. However, at the end of 2009, all activities organized by MISSA were restructured under Ikatan Muslimin Malaysia (ISMA), a non-government organization based in Malaysia.
Since then, MISSA no longer serve the Malaysian Muslims as a student body. Currently, there is no recognized Malaysian Muslims body in South Australia, unlike in Melbourne and Western Australia, where EHSAN and MISWA are still active until today. The MISSA Reestablishment Movement (MRM) finds that there is a crucial need of a registered Malaysian Muslim body, MISSA, to be reestablished as it will become a medium to unite Malaysian Muslims students in South Australia through the activities that will be organized and also as a platform to induce an intellectual discussion culture among Malaysian students.
