Support Forest Park Black Hawks (Neighborhood Football League)

With school budget cuts eliminating Elementary/Middle School extra-curricular activities and teaching positions, the Forest Park N.F.L. has become an important ally to local schools, Parks and Recreation centers. It is important that our youth are provided with an opportunity to have fun in a safe enviornment.

In order to reduce risk factors and promote academic achievement and social success, we are seeking partnerships/funds to continue our highly effective athletic and academic program that focuses on Positive Youth Development.

We, the undersigned, call on the Baltimore City Recreation and Parks to assist our organization with:

1. Re-construction of our youth football field that includes new grass, marked lines and numbers.

2. Up to date maintenance of our men/women bathrooms so that they are able to be used by our youth and parents.

3. Bleachers for parents, visitors, fans and spectators to sit and watch our youth play their football games.

4. Storage space to safely stock baseball and football equipment for our youth.
