A mock trial is an event imitating the legal process, often used for teaching students about trials and is being explored by students throughout the Clarke County School district and in return should be supported and financed by the district.
Cedar Shoals mock trial team should be completely financed for the many reason such as (its):

* Use of synthesis and analysis to present ideas
* Formation of debating skills
* Improvement of listening skills
* Development of extemporaneous speech
* Development of public speaking
* Clarify and defend point of view
* Enhancement of lifelong learning
* Introduction to controversial issues
* Career exploration
* Develops community responsibility
These and many more reasons are why school mock trial should be acknowledge and financed immediately.

We the Students of Cedar Shoals high school altogether with the spirit of one cedar in mind think it imperative that cedar shoals mock trial team be completely supported financially by the Clarke County School district.
We think this social group can bring about essential change in our school and our community that is drastically needed if properly founded to reach its full potential.
We think with everything the county is demanding from students, we are inclined as young adults to ask our democratic County to fund activities deemed fit to develop productive traits if staked correctly.
