Stop using Polystyrene Cups Dunkin Donuts!

Background (Preamble):
Polystyrene cups are hazardous not only to the environment but to YOUR health as well. According to a Foundation for Achievements in Science and Education fact sheet, long term exposure to small quantities of styrene can cause neurotoxic (fatigue, nervousness, difficulty sleeping), hematological (low platelet and hemoglobin values), cytogenetic (chromosomal and lymphatic abnormalities), and carcinogenic effects.[1,2]
Dunkin Donuts claims to have 2.7 million customers a day of which the vast majority enjoy a beverage delivered in the Polystyrene cups. Annually this would amount to over 5 million cups finding their way unnecessarily into our ecosystems. This issue of polystyrene has been around for many years and substitutes are readily available. There is no excuse for Dunkin Donuts to still be using these cups.
