As part of their 2004 World AIDS Day production, CIVI-TV ("The New VI") Victoria, BC -part of the CHUM group - asked for information on our exhibition Red Ribbon Postcards 3, and then used the images from it for their broadcast, but refused to tell their viewers about what they were viewing.
After requesting either CARFAC fees for the use of our images, or an apology for using our work without acknowledgment, CIVI offered neither.
Tell the CHUM-TV to stop stealing art from AIDS victims!!!
