It has been known that in the past five years persons committing violent crimes in Shelby County, Tennessee have recieved lighter punishment than what the citizens think they diserve.
On behalf of the students and Faculty of Remington College Memphis Campus, We call for tougher punishments for those who commit violent crimes. We believe that the residents of the city of Memphis and across the world should be able to live freely without having to look over their shoulder at all times.
We believe that making harsher punishments will set an example, and drop the crime rate extremely. Therefore we present this petition signed by the many that support this cause.
